When you listen to MANY of his quotes, he talks alot about having money, being better than others, etc.

Is it possible he was supposed to be with the preps?

Ha, the Preps are a bit down on their luck these days (in the story), so they will be willing to 'lower their standards' a bit to 'live up to' Gordon's standards.

His Prep fighting line (those are unused fighting lines meant to be aimed at specific cliques) is "We're the same breed, but I'm twice as cool as you'll ever be!"
