Should The Character Of Tiffany Be Killed Off ?
« on: January 08, 2014, 09:36:56 AM »
I'm in a quandary....Live or Die ?

For any of those who read the NES, should the Character of Tiffany be killed off ?

For those who don't know, Tiffany is Constantinos' rather Psycho Girlfriend who was introduced in Chapter 7 as part of the Reform Girl Clique that came to Bullworth.  She has been shot with Pellets in the guts and is badly injured at this point.

Now, I don't care either way, since this is a character entirely of my own invention.  However, more important will be the effect on Constantinos, a character we all know and love (??)  and how it will impact his role in the story.

So, whadda think ?

Yes..... Personally, we did have a few PM's about Const's personality after my short-lived FanFic, and it was basically inevitable that Const would "head to the dark side" due to the weight of things collapsing on him. Mental illness, anger, steamed up emotion from being everyone's whipping boy and known only as a "snitch" to everyone (Probably including Tony....) Tiffany's death is the perfect excuse for Const to unleash all of his anger from the past on anyone who he pleases, (perhaps Tony, as well?....) Much similar to the Joker that Jack Nicholson portrayed. A low-level thug who, when fell into a vat of chemicals and became "mad", it was his perfect excuse to be everything he always fantasized about.

Although, of course, you wouldn't want const turning into a major villain which then results in 20 chapters more. Perhaps he just has a few intense conversations with Tony and pretty much becomes a nuisance to everyone. Perhaps even a fight or two?  :hmm:

idk though, I'm interested to see how you will pan this out. This just my opinion, however.  :ajajaxh5:

I was going to say no because the almighty game of heads or tails said so but I like what Alex said.

Though another coin flip still says no.

Haha, I really can't decide/give much input since I don't read the story (thus either option doesn't matter to me) so it might be better to just ignore me :D

I say no, she shouldn't be killed off, since Constantinos needs his redemption as you wrote earlier, and her death will only make Constantinos drive into further despair. Rather, I think she should be crippled temporarily, while he finds a way to redeem himself back into Bullworth.

Red makes a lot of sense.  It will torture Constantinos either way.
Maybe even better if she isn't killed off.  Oh, The Guilt !!!!

Either way, the weight of a mental toll on Const is good story material.  :ajajaxh5:

Come to think of it, perhaps it could be smart to cripple Tiffany. Make it seem basically impossible that she will ever recover, which is still a valid excuse for Const to flip the lid and lose it for a brief period of time either way. (But at least she's still alive.....) Of course her dying would definitely make a bigger impact, but it's what the author (You) plans on doing with future chapters and to see if it fits in with what you want with the plot.

Well, I decided to let her live, after all.  We truly are near the end of the story now, and Constantinos has gone to be with her.
This will better tie in to the Live or Die in Liberty after-story anyway, if anyone cares to keep writing on it.  I may do some posts myself, once the NES is finished.
