Change Faction?

ive seen that where it says player1 you can change it to what everr. What would happen if i put bully?

He changed "PLAYER1" in default.IDE to "NERD" (i think?) and somtimes it crashs you somtimes it switchs you to another person in that faction (You need a fairly good PC to be able to do this.I do this but with "DROPOUT"

Curious question for the genius modders; Would it be possible to eventually change your faction to BULLY for example then edit something else to make doors openable (if that makes sense?)

Very impossible even if I hacked the game.
It may need to be done with Faction selector.(So that you change to PLAYER1 when going to interior and back to What ever faction.)
We cannot do that with out rebuilding the entire game engine.

Aside from making a faction index to cycle through for the player, it can't be done.

There's nothing special about changing your faction aside from the following:

- Your grapple attack changes. I suspect this is done through flags.
- Your attacks can't harm members of the same clique unless you set the clique to hate itself.

Changing it on default.ide does nothing.
