Still trying to figure out the strafe fix...

I've been trying to fix the strafe mod for MONTHS! ..... I can't seem to change the strafe for the player's fighting styles...(ex. prep boxing strafe for prep player fighting style) I've tried to change the act's HF_Spectator, Block, and I usually see scuff and I think  I sometimes see CombatStrafeIdle or something like CombatIdleStrafe...... Can someone help me? i want to change the strafing of the player's fighting style to the npc's

i hope so because i really to change the annoying strafe of when the player plays another fighting style becuz it looks like they are just shuffling or somethin

See look at my youtube video i seem to change the strafe but it changes EVERYONEs strafe and i cant stop them from moving but i can control where jimmy moves. in act.img i change block.cat with strafe_default.cat?? something there triggers it?

Believe me, when all libraries for Act are unloaded or called through scripts, this'll be figured out quickly. But hex editing today is null and void.

omg thx madman! ur like one of the best modders! i cant wait to find out how to change the strafe of the player's fighting style! i hate it when u lock on they look like they are cheering or spectating instead of the npc's regular strafe! ive been looking at the acts,scripts, nothing....

Alll the people above are correct, it will be easier that way. I'll just post the current way, in case that doesn't work for you or whatever. Extract act.img, and find the file names for the strafed you want to swap, it will be obvious. Swap the names both ways, save the act with the edited strafes and put it in game. If you swapped preppy and greaser, all greasers will have preppy strafe and vice versa.

Ok, so you know when you apply a fighting style to the player such as a prep fighting style and you lock on to an enemy and move and they look like they are spectating? Well I want to change that spectating to the original strafe of the prep fighting style, the way where the prep jumps up and down in boxing stance....
