Requests / The ps2 camera for Scholarship edition mod has a problem, can anyone fix it?
« Last post by D3v1w on November 23, 2024, 05:23:49 PM »
I really enjoyed the following mod, but the point is that it has a problem I don't know how to fix

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5J2PZDIAOcM

I'm a guy who really tries to take cool photos on bully, but this mod just breaks the camera (item) by not letting it zoom in or out, can anyone solve it for me?

Retrofit Freeroam mod

https://bully-board.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=259

New V2 version with improved  and new features available:

https://bully-board.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=261

Hi lads, this is a mod that resulted from me messing around with scripts and files that I kind of decided to release so others have access to it  as well. It was aimed at re balancing and adding things to the game while still keeping its vision, so it adds generally most of the stuff people request and more to the game, while not adding unnessessary features like crazy  costumes that take away from it.

In the past I went way overboard with an obscession with increasing difficulty and I feel I approached it wrongly. A game is supposed to remain fun to play, and shouldn't be a slog. I was really new to modding, and honestly couldn't even understand scripting propperly, which I'm not perfect in but have improved to which I have the people in this site to thank for. Scripting has allows you to add fun features which you can't via hex editing.

This is of course nothing groundbreaking for the more experienced modders of this community, but I can understand that there are people out there who just want to download mods, it's the very reason I first started trying to mod the game.  This first resulted out of me messing around with the game and seeing what I could do, but I realize that there are people out there who would like to have such options applied but do not feel like or have the time to get into modding. So I decided to release this so it's out there for everyone and made sure to include some general features people would like to have, while not including anything crazy that would that you out of or go against the vision of the game (Also if there is anything I was messing around with you can always let me know).

To be fair if anyone has advise for me to improve, feel free to say I feel like from a redundancy stadpoint the script is still kind of a hot mess in some ways and there is always room for improvement ( but who am I kidding, these days the activity on this site is like screaming into an empty void, most people are probably somewhere on discourd).

I am not sure if this is something I would update and won't make any promises. But if someone out there who wants to use it for something, feel free to mess around with it or use it alongside other stuff.

All the best lads,

 Mike.

Bully Modding / Re: Mod thief

Sorry about this late response. For the theft, I recommend you pull ALL of your mods down from YouTube, since this is not the first time you mentioned theft occurring. Last time was in 2022.

As I mentioned, you should swiftly pull all of your mods off of YouTube if they haven't been already. I doubt Google will take any action upon this.

A small recommendation I can give is to use a Mega account. Mega is highly encrypted and private. The only way to access your mega is if you directly provide a link to the download. This will help you keep track of who has what when sharing with people.

Extremely grindy. Intentionally built that way though. There's good grind with good results, then there's the shit grind with no return. The division was a game with weird grind to it. Division 2 wasn't a whole lot better.

Couldn't get into it. As far as I know it's still very grindy to get things.

I don't really mind the idea of cosmetics and such. A game that handles digital sales really well is Warframe. Free2Play and online only. No paywalls. But anything you pay for is completely optional. Cosmetics, skins and other stuff you technically don't NEED. It's just there if you want it.

You'll be buying "new content" when it's just default game pieces that were sliced out and resold.
I'm very anti-DLC cuz of this shit lol. Can't just be a free update, no no, we gotta charge another $20.

Assassins Creed is a series that's happened with. "I'm not buying anymore of these games!" ~Buys and pre-orders next release~

Microtransactions, paywalls, DLC, whatever they want to call it, has been good and bad. EA games like battlefield are a great example of "DLC" issues. You'll be buying "new content" when it's just default game pieces that were sliced out and resold.

It's one of the ways devs have become a little cozy in their building of games. If the game turns out to be shitty and buggy, no worries. Just send out a patch for it day one.

While I'm inclined to agree, there are still morons who complain about the drop in quality regarding [Series] over the past few installments yet they continue to buy it. Same with microtransactions. So, devs keep doing this shit cuz it makes them money.
