Bully Modding Archives / Re: Blood mod

The best that can probably be done without some serious modding to the game's core is using different models with blood on them and swapping them out based on health, much like the boxing minigame does.

There is a chicken and aggression ped stat but I doubt they'll do what you want, try it though if you want.

Download it here!

A mod for exploration, scripting, or simply just some fun.
  - Flying, the original purpose of the mod, you can fly anywhere you want and through walls.
  - Free camera, could be used for simple videos or just to look around places.
  - Coordinate display, for scripters, get both player and camera coordinates.
  - Rubber band balls, trust me they're fun.

Oh, and the mod has a readme.txt, I suggest reading it.

Bully Modding Archives / Re: Bully modding wiki (again)

I'm sorta concerned with the accuracy of some of this. HxD is a file editor for like binary files, I don't think it should really be referred to as just being useful for enabling free roam characters... maybe if you're just talking to people you can say it since that is it's main use with Bully, but when you're trying to be technical and making a wiki, I feel like you should call it something else... like default.ide modding, because as you may or may not know default.ide is a file in ide.img that all y'all edit to change the ped model settings and crap like that. I might make some contributions to the wiki later, cool idea to start a modding wiki. Oh another note, MadmaN didn't make the lua compiler and you don't need to use it, you just need a standard LUA 5.0.2 compiler but with numbers setup as floats when you compile. I guess I coulda just edited this crap in but I just woke up so rip effort.

Requests / Re: Area code changer mod?
« on: October 24, 2016, 01:49:44 PM »
The locked areas as far as I know can still be used in-game if they simply have a script registered for them. This can be done pretty easily and I'll get to it soon and share the results when it's done.
I'm also not saying Mad is wrong here, but as far as I know the steam and cd versions are nearly exactly the same except for testapp.exe being in the steam version along with the soundtrack mp3 files... I don't see why his trainer wouldn't work, worth trying it?

Like a view distance? I've no idea how to make that but I can make it so you can fly around.

It is actually very simple to change areas, there is a function called PlayerSetPosXYZArea that can set a new area (along with new coordinates). If you want I can make a custom script for you with the fly mod that also lets you change the area, but it would probably be hard for you because you wouldn't know where things actually are in the area (like what coordinates).

Mod Showroom / Re: fastman92 processor

I doubt you made this.
You uploaded MadmaN's bully img tool and claimed it as your own on Sweg's site.

MadmaN actually made the toolkit using some of fastman92's code. In part what you said is true since MadmaN did make the kit, but it is using some of fastman92's code, which Mad overlooked when releasing the tool because he was simply trying to release a useful tool and forgot about saying it was in part made by fastman. You can still see fastman's mark in the beginning of .img archives made with the tool anyways. I'm not even sure if it was fastman92 that uploaded that anyways, but I did see it up there as well. MadmaN still gets credited in the tool though, so it seems pretty fair.

Regardless of how I feel fastman is treating some of the other members here, I at least can say I doubt he stole this tool, even though I haven't tried it.

Your interpretation of it is as good as most of ours m8. Maybe. Try to check out the channel of the guy who said it, see if he jokes around like that or if it might of been a real slip up.

Modding Questions/Help Archives / Re: how to set auto block?
« on: October 11, 2016, 10:24:20 PM »
I've been wanting to make a manual block for a while now, not sure how to stop the player from blocking, all I know is the player will not block against prefects or cops.

Go for it m8. Maybe make it in freeroam and have it be if you get on the bike with that weapon it is what you're using.
