I've been trying to edit the HUD, move around the clock, radar, and weapon wheel. I remember doing this a long time ago and it working. However I've edited HUD_DATA.hdt, HUD_DATJ.hdt, and HUD_DATR.hdt, and nothing has changed in my game. What am I missing?

Very useful. At some point someone should make a list of what each model/texture is in world.img. It would take forever of course, but it would save modders so much time.

I decided to make a post to organize all my complete and upcoming mods, as long as it's okay with Red, Swegta, and Madman (I don't mean to cause any clutter, feel free to remove this if it's causing any issues). This post is for you guys to keep up with my mods, as well as organize my projects for my own benefit. Leave any questions or comments as a reply. Also, I'm leaving out some of my simpler and earlier mods.

Upcoming Mods
-At the moment I'm only working on one mod. Actually I haven't even started yet, but it's a very very big mod, bigger and will take much longer than anything I've done in the past. Because of this, it requires lots of planning, which is the stage I'm in right now. I'm redoing most aspects of the game. Changing and editing the HUD, replacing pretty much all weapons and vehicles with new ones. Also I'm changing all cliques to new custom ones, and creating a new main character. Hopefully even a new storyline. I don't want to give away too much as of now, so I won't reveal the new characters, cliques, vehicles, or weapons. I don't mod nearly as much as I used to, so this mod will be something I work on over a long time. Eventually I'll need some help from those of you who know lua.

@1stGarySmithFan: it's game engine in English  :D. If its the same engine a lot of things can be similar and that is helpful, someone who worked on Gta sa multiplayer mod could help. However a lot is also different, and it doesn't change how hard this mod is. Especially for such a complicated mod, I don't think it will be too similar to Gta, though they could help out on some aspects.

Awesome. I'll give you a model with the character model replaced into a custom one with the textures (thats easy) but separate from the skeleton. If you can attach the new player model to the skeleton, the animations will work and I'm 90 percent sure it will work in game. When I start modding again, most like around a month from now, I'll let you know.

I know how do it but I don't have all the skills required, some of the steps I'm unsure how to do. Any yes, no animation replacement is needed.
@Madman whenever you would like to try I can help you. I know how to replace the model in nifskope but I don't know how to attach to the existing skeleton so that the animations are in place
