So Gary for sure only shows up in Chapter 6?  He doesn't show up before Chapter 5, so we can get his yearbook picture before then without mods?

2
Jimmy: Got Married to Zoe, and works as a janitor at Bullworth Academy after Mr. Luntz commited suicide. Ended up killing Gary Smith

Petey: Became the youngest Head of Bullworth Academy ever at age 24

Gary Smith: Went to Happy Volts asylum from age 16 to 21, got out, and lived in a small apartment in Bullworth for a few years. At 23, he met a 16 year old girl who attended Bullworth Academy. He gained her trust and got her to betray her two best friends and help him to once again incite a riot and take over Bullworth Academy at age 24. He also, in a night of passion and gaining her trust, got her pregnant. The girl's ex boyfriend and his best friend attempt along with Jimmy Hopkins, age 24 to take Gary down, but Gary shoots Jimmy in the leg in the scuffle. The two students fight Gary and almost defeat him until he turns the tables. Right as Gary is about to kill the two students, Jimmy shoots him three times in the back with his own gun. He died at age 24.

Earnest: Became Governor of Massachusetts, and enacted strict policies against bullies. Also got the age of consent in Massachusetts lowered by two years.

Johnny: Was cheated on again at age 26 by his wife Lola, and is serving a 25 year prison sentance for murdering 24 year old Gord Vendome with a sledgehammer.

Derby: Ended up a wealthy congressman

Ted: died of alcohol poisoning just a week after graduating High school at a college party at age 19.

Russel: Became a bodyguard for Governor of Massachusetts Earnest Jones

Edgar: Started an underground fight club in Blue Skies, died at age 49 from Lung cancer attributed to heavy tobacco use.

My favorite so far and seems the most accurate.

2164 - According to a youtube video I watched again recently, the mermaid in the freak show tent is a beta design for Lola

2165 - All the pics of the girlfriends of Jimmy on the wall of his dorm room are beta designs of those characters, according to a Swegta video I was just watching again.

2166 - Andrew Rannells, who played Bif Taylor, is a known stage actor who also made a guest appearance in an episode of The Simpsons.

2167 - The "crush, kill, destroy" line Russell sometimes uses when fighting is from a song by the same name.

2168 - Jimmy Hopkins actor himself, Gerry Rosenthal, has not gotten far in a video playthrough of Bully, but has still been quite friendly and cool to all of his fans.

2169 - Steve Carlesi from the Opie and Anthony show also plays pedestrian characters in Bully, including one that gives the player an errand and is mentioned in the closing credits (RIP).

2170 - Johnny Vincent is by far, the biggest cuck in the game

2171 - Bully is mentioned in GTA 4 when Bullworth Academy is shown briefly on the reality show I'm Rich

2172 - There are also several Bully Easter Eggs in Red Dead Redenption 2 (A kid that looks like Jimmy, a revolver with the words Canis Canem Edit on the side, The Freak Show tent found crashed with skeletons of several Freak Show attractions).

2173 - There's also DLC in GTA 5 with apparently a full map of Bully on a wall.

2174 - Bully is one of several Rockstar games that has betrayal as a major plot point with Gary betraying Jimmy.  This also happens in GTA 3 (Catalina betrays Claude), Vice City (Sonny-Tommy) and San Andreas (Ryder and Smoke betraying CJ) plus the Red Dead Redemption games with John Marsten having to get revenge against Dutch van der Linde in 1 and Arthur and John being betrayed by Micah as well.

2175 - Speaking of Redemption, that seems to sometimes be a theme.  At least I noticed that with San Andreas, where CJ screws over Madd Dogg by stealing his rhyme book and ruining his career, but then redeeming himself by preventing Madd Dogg's suicide, getting him into rehab and managing his comeback career.  The same thing happens with Jimmy, where he takes the pics of Mandy, ruining her reputation on campus, unbeknownst to Mandy, but making things right by agreeing to tag over the pics, which were made into posters by Thad on campus and in Bullworth Town.  There's probably other examples I've either forgotten or in games I haven't played yet.

2159 - In a later playthrough, any photos saved in your photo album will still be saved in a new game on the same memory card (at least on PS2 version, not sure of others).

2160 - Sometimes in Chapter 3, Angie shows up in the Boys Dorm walking around, which is a fun glitch to find.

2161 - If you make it to the Boys Dorm or Jimmy's room, you're safe from any punishment by any authority.

2162 - Any serious crimes of offenses committed will be forgotten about if you go somewhere else or hide long enough.

2163 - Beatrice might be book smart, but is completely oblivious to the fact that Bucky has a crush on her and that she's giving him blue balls.

Bully 1 Discussion / Re: "Perfect" Stat playthrough

Thanks for the words of encouragement, guys...I really appreciate it!

In defender of the castle I don't think you have to just stand on the gun and shoot down jocks with it. The super slingshot will be your best friend in this mission.

The boxing games increase your damage significantly.

I won't give spoiler but the last mission is nearly impossible to finish without getting hit. Prepare yourself for that pain  ;)

Unfortunately, I attempted the super slingshot, but Jimmy has a tendency to focus on hitting Casey and Bo, instead of the football players that run the gate. Physical attacks are too hard to maintain while everyone is charging, and the camera angle doesn't help. One thing I found that works best is to not even bother with the barrier. As soon as you go through the entry way that causes the nerds to charge, I turn around and run back to the potato machine gun. I also park the go kart at an angle near the pillars to help maintain a single file when the jocks run toward me. Now..the only thing I don't know is...does the number of football players who run to the gate correlate to the amount of football players who get knocked out during the barrier part? What I mean is...if there are 12 football players who charge, and say I knock out 3 during the barrier part, does that mean I'll only get 9 during the gate part? I plan to try this when I get a chance.

For the boxing, I did that and a TON of other stuff during Christmas when the clock is "stopped". Unfortunately, any time you load the game, the clock does run about 5 minutes in game, so you can do the boxing, bike races, errands, carnival games, yearbook pictures, rubber bands, G&G cards and such during this time, however both the boxing matches and the hobo fights cause the clock to continue to roll, so I had to race to save my game, then load it again to stop the clock.

As far as the final mission goes, I don't mind if I take any damage, as that isn't a stat that is tracked, just as long as they don't give me an automatic soda.  :D

Nice to see a new member enjoying the game after all this time, even while playing in an unorthodox manner lol

Thanks, it's actually quite a fun challenge, especially when it comes to trying to make the most of each day. You have to start creating strategies to move from one place to another and a lot of time trying to get a mission done while a class is going on, THEN racing back to class to try and get in there before 11:30 or 3:30. It works much better if you unlock the go kart in Chapter 2.

Not silly at all.  There's videos on youtube of people playing GTA with all kinds of major challenges, like "most enemy kills" or "pacifist playthrough" where they pass missions by not directly killing enemies but having them blow themselves up.

I did a challenge a while back in an earlier playthrough of this game where I wanted to knock out 2 prefects.  1 hand to hand and 1 with weapons, then took pics of them knocked out to save in my photo album.

And a similar challenge I did in later playthroughs was to have 100% accuracy with errands while passing all 50 of them, usually achieved by saving after passing every few of them.

I also try to do every detention, but the snow shoveling in Chapter 3 sometimes doesn't unlock until after the Tagging mission.

Oh and on a similar note, when I played GTA: San Andreas, I wanted to get all Gold in all the vehicle schools (flying, driving, bike, boat).  The only hard parts on that was parking the car at a perfect 90 degree angle on one of the driving tests, trying to land in just the right spot for that ramp jump with the hovercraft in the boat school and landing perfectly in the middle in the jump and stoppie test for bike school.

So, I know exactly how you feel.  And there's definitely other gamers that do the same thing, as evidenced by all the players in later and modern games that go for achievements/trophies.  I also even maxed out all of CJ's stats in cycling, flying, driving and biking last time I played.  Only thing that sucks is the game doesn't even tell you on some of the stats when they're maxed.  You only know after a couple of minutes when they stop increasing.  Best way is to pass the tests in the schools for a big boost and then fly/bike/drive back and forth at the airport when it's unlocked.

2145 - Some people here don't know how to count
2146 - One of the Nerds wonders what the yardstick is in the metric system
2147 - Someone's numbers here have a lot of removed/redacted entries
2148 - Prefects are very difficult, but not impossible to knock out, especially hand to hand (I have saved photos of different prefects knocked out both hand to hand and with the spud cannon)

2149 - You can get 1000 projectile hits to unlock the Green Ninja Costume a lot faster by first knocking out kids in the boys dorm and then shooting them for several minutes with the fire extinguisher.  One they disappear, rinse and repeat with someone else until you get it.  I found this on a youtube video and also see it on the Wiki page now for Bully clothing.

2150 - Something I discovered completely by accident that I haven't seen pointed out anywhere else that I later mentioned on a youtube comment is that if you're still holding a snowball after defeating Johnny in Fighting Johnny Vincent, Jimmy will still be holding the snowball at the start of Chapter 4 and can throw 1 more snowball at someone after winter's over.

2151 - Something I saw in a video and tried myself was that you can grab a snowball or piece of fruit and smash it in someone's face, which apparently wasn't discovered until Scholarship Edition came out.

2152 - Something pointed out in a great Swegta video is that you can knock out Derby Harrington just before the start of your boss fight with him if you manage to hit him with any projectile.  I believe in the video he used an egg to hit him with.  I still haven't managed to pull this off, but this has been confirmed by a lot of other players and I have a game save right before that mission to try to make this happen.

2153 - Swegta has an awesome Bully channel on youtube

2154 - The Nathan NS has a pretty damn good one too

2155 - According to Lazlow on an appearance on the Opie and Anthony radio show, the look of Jimmy Hopkins was based on comedian Jim Norton, who also provides voice work in the game.  Wish I could find a clip, but I know he used to make a lot of appearances on the show at the time the game came out.

2157 - Molly Fox, who played Zoe Taylor, is now a PhD and research scientist who works primarily to treat Alzheimer's.  Since nobody had provided photos of her before, here's what she looks like and a video presentation of some of her research.  Pretty interesting stuff.  I guess you can say Zoe graduated Bullworth Academy: http://user-images.strikinglycdn.com/res/hrscywv4p/image/upload/c_limit,h_540,w_720/rgj0zrkaugzdd8o273xi.jpg

2158 - Since watching the Bully youtube channels, learning so much about the game and now replaying it a few times, this has become my all-time favorite console game.

Chapter 3 / Why no Greasers Challenge thread?
« on: August 30, 2022, 11:13:57 PM »
Just wondering why no Greasers Challenge thread, since that's also a Chapter 3 mission you have to pass to beat Bully 100%, which gives you the Greaser safehouse in New Coventry?
