Yeah, I'm not too familiar with the mechanics behind the weather in the game, though it might be worth a shot trying to mess around with it just to see what you can do. There are some functions relating too it.

Retrofit Freeroam mod v2

https://bully-board.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=261

Overal improved version of my previous mod:

Alogside general improvements new features include:

- During Endless Summer Players now have the option, to change the attitudes of all the cliques towards the player between positive and negative:

-There is a toggle inside Jimmy's room to change clique attitudes.
-When pressed, basically allows fights to be started more easily after finishing the story, to state the obvious.

- Allows access to multiple interiors including the Principal's office and more:

     -Principal spawns inside the office

-Preps spawn inside the Harrington House

-Alongside overal improvements improved features include:

-Derby now has a more functional prep dodge

-Earnest has better targeting with his bombs

-Drop out grapplers and Fatty have standing grabs

To install simply download the mod files and paste the folders inside "Modded files" into your Bully directory and replace them:

Main Features:

- Adds missing clique leaders and missing characters such Pete, Gary and Bob as a jock

-All major Boss Styles are added and fully working
-Ted mixes some of the jock moves from different styles in the same nature as other clique's movesets

-Adds some missing moves of some characters or movesets:
     - Jock  melee Shoulder-Barge
     - Damon's Powerswing with damage
     -  Johnny's tornado kick
     - Darby's charged punches

- Some characters like Damon, Ted, Norton and Preppy grapplers do more damage

-Story boss fights have some more added health to prevent it from being a cakewalk

- Rebalancing of faction stats that make sense based on what's presented and keep in line with the direction of the game:
       - Larger characters (Specifically huge clique members)  have higher health
       - Preps make better use of their dodge
       - Greasers block more often and have higher attack rate
       - Jocks have more health and do more damage

- Grapplers and some other characters activate their grapples much quicker and more efficiently, making them more dangerous

- Jimmy is able to use unused factions taunts when taunting (chance based to not be oversused over og lines)

- Adds some factions into other areas such as dorms, school halways, downtown, etc.

- Characters like the Mascot spawn in the football field, the Janitor roams the basement and little kids can spawn in the dorm (with pjs in the morning)

All the Best!

Hi Mate,

Thanks for the kind words, glad you're enjoyed it. As for the bullies not spawning in the parking lot, I did not mess with the parking lot spawn as far as I know and did not encounterany issue during testing and it seems to be working as
normal for me. But if it does persist, replace the Trigger.img and Trigger..dir files with the original ones, they're the ones that contain the population.dat file that affects spawning in most outside areas. The main features of the mod are in the script files, so if you want to use it with your own stuff, spawn and changes that's perfectly possible.

I also recently submited an improved V2 version for approval recently, I'll add it to the attachments if you'd like to check it out before it is approved.

Cheers!

Suggestions & Feedback / Re: Is bully-board.com dead?

I'm team forum as well, but I don't see it changing. It's not only the new way of things but also that Bully is almost two decades old without a new release. Though it still remains a unique and classic game, I don't think I've met anyone that was introduced to it and didn't love it.

Retrofit Freeroam mod

https://bully-board.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=259

New V2 version with improved  and new features available:

https://bully-board.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=261

Hi lads, this is a mod that resulted from me messing around with scripts and files that I kind of decided to release so others have access to it  as well. It was aimed at re balancing and adding things to the game while still keeping its vision, so it adds generally most of the stuff people request and more to the game, while not adding unnessessary features like crazy  costumes that take away from it.

In the past I went way overboard with an obscession with increasing difficulty and I feel I approached it wrongly. A game is supposed to remain fun to play, and shouldn't be a slog. I was really new to modding, and honestly couldn't even understand scripting propperly, which I'm not perfect in but have improved to which I have the people in this site to thank for. Scripting has allows you to add fun features which you can't via hex editing.

This is of course nothing groundbreaking for the more experienced modders of this community, but I can understand that there are people out there who just want to download mods, it's the very reason I first started trying to mod the game.  This first resulted out of me messing around with the game and seeing what I could do, but I realize that there are people out there who would like to have such options applied but do not feel like or have the time to get into modding. So I decided to release this so it's out there for everyone and made sure to include some general features people would like to have, while not including anything crazy that would that you out of or go against the vision of the game (Also if there is anything I was messing around with you can always let me know).

To be fair if anyone has advise for me to improve, feel free to say I feel like from a redundancy stadpoint the script is still kind of a hot mess in some ways and there is always room for improvement ( but who am I kidding, these days the activity on this site is like screaming into an empty void, most people are probably somewhere on discourd).

I am not sure if this is something I would update and won't make any promises. But if someone out there who wants to use it for something, feel free to mess around with it or use it alongside other stuff.

All the best lads,

 Mike.

Modding Questions/Help / PedSetHealth issue
« on: June 24, 2021, 04:57:28 PM »
Hi, can someone help point me in the right direction? I have been trying to create a script where I can change the stats of certain peds during some specific missions but I'm having issues with the PedSetHealth command. No matter what value I add, in the affected mission the affected ped stops losing health and basically becomes invincible. Every other command has been working as intended so far except this one.

What my intention has been is adjusting some stuff that annoys me, like Bif having his health divided by 2.5 during the Weed Killermission. As well as reducing the damage taken for some bosses in certain boss fights and increasing the damage of certain characters. I also feel like I could organize the script a lot better

If someone could help me out it would be appreciated.

Thank you for your time

You're welcome, though once again thank Derpy. This is all thanks to her since it's her work and I myself learned a lot of stuff about how scripting and action nodes work by looking at her script.

11
I updated the link already, if it didn't pardon my idiocy/adhd
.

12
Try it out now, I used my own script file this time.

13
No worries you're completely fine, this is stuff you learn with time; you're not bothering me at all. I think I know where the issue is. I think the script file you provided might not have merged well with the mod. This escaped my notice because I tested it in my own script but I didn't try it with your file specifically. Wait a moment and I'll fix this in a sec.

14
You're welcome, but it's mainly Derpy who deserves praise. This is her work, I just added stuff to it.

15
It should be attached to the comment at the bottom, it is at least visible to me. But I made sure to add a MediaFire link to my previous comment in case that's just easier for everyone.
