There is a way to modify that but I have to finish completely rewriting the chemistry class script in order to pull that off...and sadly this is not a high priority enough project for me to bother doing at the present moment.....got a lot of projects already to deal with.

I can release the partial source of the chemistry class script that I have on hand and the bytecode version of the same script and let someone else here attempt to fix it or rewrite it so that it can be compiled and used and modified as needed.

That would be acceptable; I was able to just eke through using my Wireless Xbox 360 controller, it worked out okay, and I guess it's best to use it for a game like this; well, both input methods have their advantages, mouse and keyboard for general exploration and fighting, controller for quick-time/action commands like in Chemistry...

Anyway I'm not really what you'd call a programmer, but I'd surely appreciate any and all help that can be given on that score :)

It WORKS, and I love it...

One thing I do have a problem with that probably doesn't have anything to do with the frame rate, is the spawning of the visual effects during chemistry (on Chemistry 4 now) makes it absolutely impossible to hit all of the keys in time because of the minute input lag it causes. Is there a way to:

* lower or remove the effects,
* have the game ignore my mistakes (which aren't really mistakes),
* give me unlimited chances to retry and get my (modified) timing right?

Thought this was a frame-rate issue but turns out it's not, it works the same with the unmodified exe... but I'm hoping someone here can help me. :)
