Requests / Re: mega man
« on: September 04, 2015, 12:47:46 PM »
Yes, it is possible
But you need to find that megaman model, and crop the face out
After that crop jimmy face and stick it into the megaman model

Then rig the megaman with jimmy face (check my tutorial if you have no idea how to rig)

Here is a video about how to attach the texture to a model, and as you can see it is much more complicated
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_vfAAQQM_A
and about rigging in blender you need to use a script name "bone weight copy"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vxabE-tDg0o
Please note that bone weight copy take times, it depends on how complex is your model, if your model got many vertices it will take like more than 1 minute or more
While in 3ds max it just 5 second to rig your model,
Blender is good free software, but 3ds max is much more powerful software though
If you think this 2 video is not good enough, just google it on youtube, there is a lot of blender tutorial out there

I actually know how to rig using blender too, but there is a problem with it. The .nif exporter has a little bug in it. When you exporting out your .nif rig, there will be some hole on the rig model (see attachment 1)
So I still recommend you to use 3ds max
and adding texture to a model in blender is actually much more complicated than 3ds max (in 3ds max you only need to drag the texture to your model)
ps. I send you a pm, who knows it can change your mind to use 3ds max instead

Try ZModeler, it has .dff importer and it has .obj exporter too

Yes, blender can be use to rig .nif file but you must use blender 2.49 since it is the only blender version that has a .nif importer & exporter

For Importing GTA .dff you need to use 3DS Max and install the addon "Kam's Max Scripts"
http://www.gtagarage.com/mods/show.php?id=9172
Then use that script to import your .dff model,
1. In 3ds max, click the hammer icon in the right panel, after that click IFP IO (see attachment 1)
2. After that a window will pop out, just click the import dff and search your .dff model (see attachment 2)
3. after that your model will load in the 3ds max
4. then after that just export it out in .obj in 3DS Max

If you mean rotating mesh in blender, then
In Object mode, just click RMB (right mouse button) the mesh, and press R Key and rotate it after that press the Space Key or Enter Key to confirm the rotation

LOL, sorry I miss it, cause I only read your first post in this thread
It looks really great, but it is still his head though,
maybe you can make his body too and add tatoo to it

Cautious, maybe you should create the grown up jimmy hopkins (30 years old)
But still keeping his buzz haircut, and add a thin beard for him
Just like this dude here

and maybe you could add tattoo for jimmy too at his hand or somewhere else, etc

Video Stories / Re: Jeff The Killer - Three Nights
« on: August 05, 2015, 11:15:54 AM »
Great Work as always!
I think you are really good at creating creepy and dark stuff
and There's actually a lot of creepy place in Bully, and one of it is the asylum, the church maybe you can use it & combine it with your Gary Werewolf skin to make a creepy machinima
and there lots of creepy place too, the apartment, the school basement, The warehouse, etc

or Maybe make a detective movie that has a trill in it
I got some good movie reference, like the "Shutter Island" or "Se7en"
Well, you don't really to need to follow all the plot from the movie,
But I think you just can use the core of the story and use it as the base for your machinima and connect it with Bully World, for eg.
"Shutter Island" = a detective that go the asylum to find a missing patient
or "Se7en" = a detective that try to solve & catch the se7en sin serial killer

Just like how you create your Jeff The Killer Series
Thanks

Cool! 8)
But I think, you should put more detail about this mod, or maybe make a little video about it
Is this mod will make bully can be played by 2 player? or what?

I think, we should nominate Cautious to the Hall of Famer
Although, he is new to the forum, but considering his amazing skill,
I believe he really deserve it

Great video, Dude! and I can feel the tense too!
But I have only one complain, the video look really dark and I actually need to turn my brightness until maximum to see what happening in there
BTW, I will wait for the next one
and I think you should make a video using your gary werewolf skin, maybe?
