One thing that bothers me is his nose. In the first office scene it seems as if though he has a deformed nose. I guess it is just me. I also hate how he whines too much sometimes, or how he thinks he is so tough. Of course when I control him he is always though.

I don't think I would like Jimmy as much if he was a total stud. That wouldn't give the right vibe. He seems to have the proper under dog look. Determined, but definately quicker to violence than thinking. He just breaths that to me. If Jimmy were tall dark and handsome that message would not come across at all. In fact he would probably clash with himself.
The fact that he is short also gives the underdog message. It is kind of easy to under estimate short people.

In my opinion Jimmy isn't ugly..in fact he'd probably be somewhat cute if he just opened his eyes more often instead of giving that sour glaring look..In his cartoon-like version like in the banner of this website yeah I'll agree he's a little scary.
In the game though His face kinda bugged me but I got use to it and in time actually thought it made him look like a cute little angry boy..(Don't ask I'm really wierd) As for the hair...(or lack of) I just go to the salon and give him that "smart" haircut..looks decent on him or go to the final cut and get him a blonde faux hawk. (well I thought it looked kinda cool on him)

When I first saw Jimmy, I shared many of the complaints people have already mentioned-- I was like, man, this kid is pretty ugly... He looks kinda fat too... Ew...
But as I played it I realized: in some weird way, his appearance makes him more 'real'. He doesn't have an ideal look because he's real. He has freckles and an ugly nose because some kids have freckles and an ugly nose, and he's short because some kids are just short.
I came to really like his look. Just imagine if he was some perfect stereotypical thin muscular tall tough guy with a perfect face and handsome eyes? This ain't Hollywood!

Seconded. He came through for Petey in the end, but throughout the game he was really inconsiderate towards him. I COULD NOT STAND the way he was acting in the opening of Chapter V (is that right?)

Actually, Jimmy does stand up for Pete in Chapter 1 after defeating Russell. He also gives Pete credit for helping him find Gary in the final cut scene at Dr. Crabblesnitches office.

He doesn't really know how to box, he wouldn't win against Norton with his hammer unless he had one of his own, and wouldn't beat Edgar so easily. He's like superman, or John Cena. I say Cena because he always wins and is extremely difficult to like because of his lack of charisma.
Also, having read through the entirety of this thread, I can confirm that the idiot award of 2007 goes to... Stabbo! Really, he's immature and loves the sound of his own voice.

You actually need flowers in order to start "Carnival Date".
If you don't, it won't start. This is because Jimmy gives Pinky flowers in the cutscene. Pretty pointless though.
I didn't even discover the flowers outside of the Girl's Dorm before I transfered to Scholarship Edition. I had no idea.

I always said that bully combat system is braindead as fuck.
You deal like twice the damage your opponent's deals, you can semi charge your punches for easy guard breakers, you can spam the running tackle, you can strafe and block at the same time, you have more than enough time to get free from grapples by just pressing 1 button, your punches can hit mutiple enemies at once while the peds fighting styles can't (except for Gary and non-cliques ones).
