Title: HOW THE FUCK DO I BEAT BRYCE IN HARDCORE MODE V3

i installed the hardcore mode for bully since the game is easy as shit, and everything was fine until  i got to the boxing minigame, the first 2 boxers were tough but entertaining, and then there Bryce, i dont know what the creator of the mod was thinking when he made bryce the way he is in this mode but i just CANT BEAT HIM, heres why:

1: His health regenerates too fast and with the regaining of health after each round he stays with pretty much all of his health

2: He is too fucking fast and i can barely hit him

it would be nice if someone told me how to beat him or if someone lend me a version of the mod without the regenerating health because that shit just makes everything a tedious mess, everything about this mod was good until the regenerating health ruined eveything.

god dammit man.

The "Bully hardcore mode V3.0" is from 2012. Probably hasn't been updated since then neither.

Like most Rockstar games, Bully has no difficulty settings built in, so "hardcore" or any difficulty setting mods are totally custom by the authors who make them. These usually require a lot of testing and tweaking. As I mentioned though, that mod is from 2012.

to delete the regeneration, download Notepad ++, open the program, open the pedstats.dat, then find the line STAT_P_BOXING, put 0 in health regeneration rate, before health

the regeneration rate is the number 1000 in the 7th row, change the 1000 for 0 and Bryce will have no regeneration

and you can edit Jimmy's Stats

you can put regeneration changing the 0 in 7th row after 150 for another number like 300 or give anti knock down, change the number 1 for a 0 in the 64th row in middle of the numbers 15 or add speed to Jimmy changing the number 100 in the 22th row for another number like 125

Interesting, although most npcs are identified by the same name  in the pedstats document, how do i know which is wich?

with a hex editor like HxD, open the archive Ide.img, in the objects folder, there you will see the peds configs, like faction, fight style, Size, etc. in Ide.img the stats lines that each ped uses are shown, after the faction, example:

DOH3_Henry..DOH3_Henry_W ........ Large ... DROPOUT.STAT_DO_STRIKER_A ... F_Douts.DO_Grap.DO_StrikeCombo..Straf_Savage ........ / Global / DO_Grappler_A ... Act / Anim / DO_Grappler_A .act ../ Global / AI..Act / AI / AI.act ... N_Henry

we can see after the faction (DROPOUT) Henry aka Clint uses the stat STAT_DO_STRIKER_A, so we can change in pedstats the stat STAT_DO_STRIKER_A and Henry's stats will change, and so it is also with the other peds, you look for their name, in HxD, example Darby, you look at the stat after its faction (PREPPY) you will see that it uses the stat STAT_P_BOXING, and this is how you find the stat that the ped uses, and you can change its stats

and if you want a 2 peds that use the same stat, example Darby and Bryce Boxing use different stats lines, you can add your own stats lines in pedstats, first select a stat line in this case STAT_P_BOXING, selecting the entire line or triple clicking, you right click, press copy, press enter to make space and paste it

and you can edit that stat, the first thing you should do is change the name of the stat to any other you want, it must be the same number of letters or a little more, because if it has fewer letters the game will crash, example STAT_P_DARBYH and from there you can modify that stat as you want like changing the health from 1850 to 2200, or removing the antigrappling, changing the numbers 1000 in the row 40 and 41 before the unarmed, example:

When you are done save the pedstats, because if you don't save it and replace the stat, the game will crash, when you have saved go to Ide.img and replace the name of the stat (STAT_P_BOXING) with your custom stat, example:

I'm going to try to explain to you as far as I know, this archive allowed you to enable characters in free roam, change fighting styles, change factions, Genders, Stats, Animation Groups, AI, Physics and Name.

Well in the first word of a ped section is the ped model it uses, for example:
N_Lance uses the model GN_SkinnyBboy, N_Gary uses the model Nemesis_Gary, N_Peter uses the model Peter.

The second word, if I'm not mistaken, is the model that the ped uses during winter, example:
N_Lance uses the model GN_SkinnyBboy_W, N_Gary uses the model Nemesis_Gary_W, N_Peter uses the model Peter_W.

The third word is size, here there are 4 sizes in total: small, medium, large and huge. If you modify this word, the size of the model will not change, what will change will be the physics that the ped uses, an example of changes in physics:
Jimmy uses the size medium, so if someone kicks his leg from behind to annoy him, Jimmy will fall to the ground, but if we change his size to large, then if someone does the same, Jimmy will hold his leg but not He will fall to the ground because he uses the same physics as guys the size of, for example Peanut, Ethan or Bo, that is, those of medium height.

The fourth word is the faction the ped belongs to, examples, N_Vance is from the GREASER faction, N_Casey is from the JOCK faction, N_Bif is from the PREPPY faction. So this is where you can change the faction the order belongs to, for example:
To change the faction of N_Ricky from greaser to townie, what you have to do is change the word GREASER to DROPOUT:

This is when the faction you want to pass to the request has the same amount of letters as the current faction, but if you want to pass it to a faction that has a lower amount of letters like JOCK, what you have to do is copy the word JOCK and then in the word of the faction you have to select the word GREASER but only select until GREA then paste, and it would be like this JOCKSER, and to remove the remaining SER, on the left in the part of the hexadecimal numbers, you have to see by the following numbers 4A 4F 43 4B 53 45 52, what you have to do is replace the numbers 54 45 and 52 by 00 and it should look like this 4A 4F 43 4B 00 00 00 and then it should be in the part of letters JOCK... demonstration:
