Title: Custom fighting style Canis Canem Edit Pcsx2
Post by: MrDingbat231 on September 23, 2020, 03:40:07 PM
Where would I start? I have little to no experience with modding, do I have to download script files and copy them to a certain folder? Will I be able to mix many styles with the buttons on my controller? I have been dying to change Jimmy's style because it would add a different dynamic to the game, for me at least.

I'm honestly not sure since you mention pcsx2. That only takes a console game and emulates the image made from a disc. You're basically emulating a ps2 version of Bully.

While not super easy, modding the pc version is usually a bit easier since on pc you at least have direct access to the files installed. Not to mention that the pc version has more content than the console version.

The huge majority of mods on this site were made from pc since modding console or mobile is totally different.

Not sure what you mean by "custom fighting style" but if you already have a mod for it on PC you can port it to the PS2 version.
Most NPCs fighting styles were NOT designed to be used by the player (whether you play with a keyboard or a controller), so their controls are a mess.

This is even harder when you try to use any authority figure since the only thing they do is bust/arrest you. They have no tie at all to your controls and need to be custom built.

True. Usually PC version is easier to access.
