Title: Could Bully really be set in the 80s or 90s?

Ok so I was thinking. The hobo was a Korean War veteran right? And he looks to be around 60 or so. If that's true, the Korean War was from 1950 to 1953. Say he was around 20 when he served in the War, add about 40 years(60-20=40) and you have 1990s. I don't know I could be totally off but who knows?

Well, they also don't have Mobile Phones, and they do have Box Tv's.. Not very futuristic. So I would have to say sometime around 1995?

I saw an interview of IGN with Rockstar Vancouver and they said that the game takes place around 2006 however they wanted it to have a retro feeling to it.

Which is weird though. Is the hobo like 80?

Only a handful of characters have their ages stated. Who knows where the others stand.

This has been discussed before, and I'm still sticking with Fall 2006 -> Endless Summer 2007 (Christmas is in the game so New Years had to be there too *shrug*). Pretty sure that Bully Facebook page said '06/'07 as well, though I'm also aware that had many mistakes concerning surnames.

The game sorta pushes the fact "this place sucks" whether it be the school or town, so not being up to date with technology could reinforce that.
