So obviously there's no guarantee, and the new profile image R* posted is likely referencing Red Dead 3, but I just had this thought. Rockstar San Diego, the studio behind Red Dead, their logo is purple. But you know what branch has a red logo? Rockstar Toronto, the company that many of the developers of Bully got shifted to after Rockstar Vancouver closed down. There have been rumblings and job postings for years that R* Toronto is working on something, and their last game was Max Payne 3. Combining this evidence with the interview where R* said "Finish Max Payne, and then we'll see what we can do with Bully" or something to that effect, as well as the recent (Possible?) Leak from Jack Patillo on the Bikers stream, and it's possible that this image is a dual reference: mainly a reference to red dead redemption, but also a game in development at Rockstar Toronto? Bully 2? Your guess is as good as mine and this is wild speculation but I thought it was interesting.

I thought that too, Rockstar Toronto logo is red.
I hope it's something related to Bully, I mean tomorrow is the game's 10th year anniversary, do something!
-
Yeah that would be a pretty devastating to like announce Red Dead on the 10 year anniversary of Bully. I'm definitely wanting Bully 2.
-
Ay nice diggin' m8. You actually gave me a bit of hope but I guess we'll see.
-
I feel like it'll be Red Dead getting a new game but I hope it's another Bully.
-
It's a new Red Dead.

They didn't even say anything about Bully's 10th anniversary. :'(

@Hoppyj0608, your post is actually coming true
It's GTA 6: Cowboy Edition
Great Job R*, Bully 10th Anniversary and we got this awesome announcement

Yay -_-. Thanks a bunch R*. Well, happy 10th anniversary guys.
I seriously think someone should make a spiritual successor. If R* won't give us a sequel, why not have an indie team make one? If it doesn't use any of R*'s intellectual property it should be in the clear.
-
BTW, sorry for the double post guys but I'm wondering, can anyone tell me what parts of the board are still active? I'd love to get into Bully RPing again but it doesn't seem like there's anybody left here to do it with. Would any of you guys be interested? I know this post isn't the greatest place to ask but I wanted to ask where I knew at least some people would see it.
-
I'm extremely disappointed. But I feel like I joined this way too late. I'd be happy to be more active if other people got into it.
-
Ah, got my hopes up.
-
Trust me, I'd rather have a Bully 2 than this, but I'm in the vast minority... I'm sure people the number of people who've played/enjoyed Red Dead outweigh Bully's fanbase and are in boner central over this right now.
-
This isn't surprising at all... Red Dead was extremely profitable for R*. It's GTA with a cowboy makeover so obviously it was always going to sell more than the likes of Bully, Manhunt or even Midnight Club and be the more likely game to get a sequel. Looks like R* are just going to continue making GTA clones for life now... After this it will be straight on to GTA 6 or who knows maybe a new IP that is basically GTA: Cyberpunk Edition (which would actually be pretty rad). I've all but lost hope for Bully 2...

Red Dead is a great game, don't get me wrong but why in the hell can't they make it a full on RPG? They have the manpower, the money and the time to do so. A western RPG would be kickass.
Hell, a crime RPG instead of a set story like every GTA we've ever had would be way more enjoyable, too.
WHY DO WE ONLY GET FANTASY RPGS?!?!?!
Sorry but not sorry. Am I the only one that thinks the RPG genre with different settings to pick from would be the shit?
-
That's actually a big reason why I enjoy the hell out of Earthbound; the setting isn't during standard medieval-esque times but rather the 1990s, you eat burgers instead of drinking elixirs, you don't slay dragons with swords but rather smash taxis, piles of vomit, hippies, and other random things with a baseball bat and frying pan, etc. etc.
I don't mind standard fantasy but (imo) like most things it's stale.

I like it but I just would love something different. I'm hoping Cyberpunk 2077 is just the bees knees, ya know? Speaking of that, I LOVE The Witcher 3. You played it yet?
-
I have Witcher 1+2 but never finished 1 (and thus won't touch 2); I can't really get into it.
-
Damn. I wish I had 1 & 2 to go along with three.
How'd you end up with 1 & 2 but never completed 1?
-
Think it was like a package deal on Steam, I wanted to check it out so why not grab 2 for a discount alongside 1.
