At long last we now have the V2 Vehicle Spawner like I promised everyone.

Credits go to Steman aka Prosecute for the original vehicle spawner mod which was what this v2 was meant to be a sequel mod for. I apologise for not originally adding credit where it was due so please forgive me for missing that. :biggrin:
This vehicle spawner was a long time in the making and I appreciate everyone being very patient with this and as of now it is a full reality. You can now drive every vehicle in the game with the exception of the cop bike since this is not a limitation of this mod. The cop bike is controlled via another script that I have not finished rewriting yet and it may be a while before that gets finished up. Until then....feel free to have fun with every vehicle in the game which also can be spawned and driven in some interiors too....the school is one of them.
**UPDATE**RedBlaster made a discovery while testing that the copbike IS indeed able to be driven but under unusual circumstances. It depends on location which in his discovery is outside the school gates.....while class is not in session and when warping to the copbike...you simply wait and jimmy will eventually get on if you do it right. The wait time for that is random.
Here are the controls for Keyboard users:
Secondary Task Button = Previous Vehicle
Show Tasks/Objectives = Next Vehicle
Zoom in = Delete Vehicle
Zoom out = Spawn Vehicle
Crouch = warp to driver's seat (this is the only way to drive vehicles other then bikes and ONLY works with vehicles you have spawned. This will NOT work with vehicles that randomly spawn in the game)

Both RedBlaster and TheBullyModder are creating videos showing the usage of this mod and I will update this post with the links to them as soon as they are uploaded. RedBlaster will be making a video showing how to use it with the keyboard and TheBullyModder will make a video showing how to use it with the xbox 360 controller.

@Madman nice mod great work. I hope when all your other projects are released I can beta test them all. Script modding is probably going to bring on a new generation in modding. Where people can learn how to do this on their own and create their own mods. Hex Editing seems so primal or primitive now, hopefully after you get the scrips fully released when their fully done you can look into making a custom Cheat Engine for fully like Game Shark for the WII so we can make him fly or float or do more.
You might not have to create many tut's because people can download your mods. Leechers aren't any type of problem because Red Blaster uploaded a video of your mod. This is awesome no more half done mods anymore we modify any part of bully now, thanks Madman for your help your a great guy and not like many modders that show off their mods and don't wanna share.
Your the best modder right now and if you could ask Fred Tetra to add beta items with full scripts and functions we may just call this Bully Custom Edition for the PC :P. I was looking at a post here before and I viewed many beta version pictures of bully. I can make a list if you want of
all the beta items in bully I know most and I know some of the beta missions.
I know the full version mission for Jocks Boss Battle where after Ted's defender's are taken out you fight Ted 1 on 1 and his team members are coming in helping him like in Derby's mission. They took this out for comical reasons just to make the game funny. I know this because in the Jock Boss Battle Ted's Script Command is to Run away but his team mates follow in on attacks.
Ted is scripted to dodge Chapter 4 weapons completely. I put this style on his FB Outfit and it pretty much looks like Derby when he blocks.
Another question I would like to ask is will you be able to bring beta styles? Johnny had some pretty awesome moves from his beta fighting style, its a shame they didn't bring them in the complete game. The only beta styles we know for now is Ted,Jimmy,Johnny and Russell plus the nerds beta Melvin which was mole. I know every boss style for characters like Derby and Johnny normally have the moves from the striker and melee characters like Lefty or Ricky or how Derby has the full set for the Grapples,Striker_B,Striker_A, and P_Bif. Ted has only Striker_A, he is supposed to have Striker_A and the Melee_A striker. This is just some of what I think is true because Derby and Johnny share one thing in common their moves are from their cliques strikers.
Well rather than that after you get those scripts done we will be able to add this good stuff back and have a full beta bully. At least we don't have to use those annoying hex methods anymore everything will be great. Have fun modding people. Hope to see great mods in bully's future.

It would.
The pc keyboard controls that I listed are the descriptions of each button and not the actual button itself. So if you can remember what you set each control to...then you can try it then since it does in fact work and has been tested extensively by RedBlaster on keyboard.
Personally if you can afford it...I highly suggest getting a wired xbox 360 controller to use for bully instead since it was meant for that. The afterglow controllers I suggest very highly due to owning three of them....one needs rewired unfortunately due to the cord being snagged a few too many times....lol but somthing I will eventually get around to.

I replace the old scripts files with the downloaded one and every time an error message when I start bully it says Bully Se has stopped working. Edit: I found the problem was I had some other mods when I removed them i could run bully. The only problem now is that when I press the buttons (I use controller btw don't hate on me) nothing happens, it just brings up the class or lawn mowing. What do I do to change that?

I can confirm that (on at least my copy), this works on the PS2 version! With some problems...
First is obvious, you can only use the Stand-alone script since certain things have changed between versions, namely the ID numbers (More below), and so using the PC's other scripts will break it (the beginning of the game is full of snow!).
Second, you must enter the moped(Scooter) Manually, as warping into it will trap you in it and it won't move...
Third, All the Id's are wrong, Only Id's 272, 273, and 274 work, and correspond to PC Id's 296, 297, and 298 respectively. I had to use cheat engine (I'm using PCSX2.) to force the spawner to use lower Id's, which allowed me to spawn the rest of the vehicles.
Also, I don't know if it is the same on the PC version, but the Police bike works fine every time if I try to enter it Manually first (even though you can't really enter it that way), and then warp into it.
Obviously, this wasn't meant for the PS2 version, but it is awesome that it works none the less.

They have different or edit source for CANIS and BULLY SE.
Also it would be impossible for PS2 why?
Because it requires ISO MODDING which would take shit to long
maybe up to months or more.

I can give it a try, although I have never recorded videos on my PC before. Right now I am about to be hit by a storm where I am, so it might not be today! But give me sometime, I will get a video somehow. Can I upload a video as a file? I don't have a you-tube account, and I would rather not get one if there are no rules against video files (some boards are picky).
**EDIT: What I mean is, can I upload (here) the .swf of the video, or does this board only allow me to link to other sites (such as youtube)?. I hope that clarifies what I meant.
***EDIT2: My video is to large anyway, I am uploading the video zipped to sendspace.

Got it! I have uploaded a video of it on the PS2 version (On the PCSX2 emulator). Here's the link:

I didn't have cheat engine running at the time of the video, so I couldn't show the other vehicles working. Watch the id's and you will see what I mean about them being wrong on the PS2. Only id's 272, 273, and 274 work (as I said above), 275, and 276 crash the game, and all other id's create a non-existant vehicle that if warped to places you beneath the map - usually knocking you out.
As I said in my last post, lower id's will spawn the other vehicles, but since the mod has 272 set as the lower limit, I had to hack it to use lower id's (cheat engine).

Well, I think I explained it in my first post... But I will go through a rundown for you if you want.
Also, I didn't really convert anything - the mod's files were untouched.
First, I made an .iso of my Bully PS2 disc, and copied off of the disc the script.img and .dir files.
Second, I opened script.img with img-tool and replaced the arcade script with the standalone script that was supplied with the mod (the supplied script.img fails spectacularly! As I expected.) and rebuilt the archive.
Third, I used the first Apache PS2 .iso editor (the first, not the second - which has problems replacing files...) to replace the script.img inside the .iso with the newly modified one.
Fourth, I just booted up the .iso in PCSX2 (which took hours of playing around with the settings to get bully to play at a playable framerate - suprisingly 65fps!).
And that's it! (Except for the copious amount of sifting through memory addresses so that I could spawn the other vehicles, don't even get me started on that :-\)
I didn't really do anything special. But thank you for at least finding it interesting!
And also surprisingly, just replacing the script.img with the one supplied for the mod doesn't immediately crash the game. The game starts in a blizzard (so the weather id's have changed from PS2 to PC) and when you get to Crabblesnitches office, his interior doesn't load, causing you to fall through the floor and get knocked out - then the game crashes :D .

The Cop Bike can be driven from anywhere not jus school gates , all you gotta do is spawn it and Press R then C and bingo you can drive. ;D

I am glad everyone has been enjoying this.
I will be releasing soon a v3 of the spawner which should have some of the bugs fixed as well as some new features...namely jimmy having total ownership of the spawned vehicle which will allow entering and exiting the vehicle normally....as in opening the doors and getting in..etc.
also will be doing away with the index spawning system and going with a table based system which will allow more along with complete customization of the vehicles without modding handling.cfg. :biggrin:
No ETA yet on when this will be released.

Absolutely fantastic work, i bought Bully again just so i can use this mod (i had it for the PS2 and i bought it again, for the PC this time)
But I have a question.
will the V3 still require the arcade machine to activate the mod? because it would be really neat if i could use the cars in actual missions... or at least be able to enter the aim thing on weapons without deleting the car.

To use it during missions depends on whether we can fully decompile main.lua, since rewriting the lua file is not a convenient technique.

Actually we will not need to rewrite any of the main scripts in order to do this.
All I have to do is create a new .dat file for trigger.img from scratch...add some custom mission marker points in the boys dorm and add the vehicle spawner to the bdorm.lua script along with other scripts I want....and even while in a mission you will be able to simply walk into the boys dorm and execute a mod....or just have the mod already active regardless.
I can also partially modify the main.lua script and just partially recompile just the specific line or lines and add that to the original compiled main.lur script. I have some tools that will allow that....just have not had a chance to bother learning them yet.

I did give you credit.....just the credit was added into the sources rather then the readme...since I rushed the readme out for it.
The thing that makes it hard tho to assign credit is the only thing I can actually credit with this specific mod version is just the original idea behind it...since all of the code used in it is my own and not based off any existing code anywhere in the game.
The v3 vehicle spawner will work a lot more similar to the one you came out with originally and for that you will get a lot of credit....since it will have a menu system as well as on the fly spawning while you are browsing through the vehicles listing.
But....I do however apologize for not originally mentioning you in the release post of it.....which I will edit and add the credits just to correct that small oversight on my part.... 8)

While I have given a few pointers to Sweg on the zombie edition, it is his mod ultimately. And I did absolutely no work on a fighting style selector. That's Rise's field.

I am at the stage where you extract file ArcRace1.lur and whenever I extract it somewhere and then try to delete it from IMG tool, something pops up saying "Dir file error! It might be in use.. exiting..." right after I click delete and then it freezes. Can someone help me out?
