Title: Mixing .act files with other .act files!

I've seen that mixing styles with other styles as well as AIs can make hidden moves to be used, for example Johnny's tornado kick is a mix of Derby's AI with some fighting style I read somewhere, and I've seen that mixing preppy styles with one another has given the ability to use feints while fighting, so could it be possible to finding beta styles with mixing let's say preppy's fighting style with a Townie's fighting style and a different AI??

It is possible.

I will give you some information that I discovered recently about the .cat files inside the act.img.

These files actually are archives that are similar to .img but in a format that is so rare that only a couple tools out there can even partly extract them. A few older games use them and they have tools that extract them and these archives hold all of the animation files needed for a specific style or character type.

I managed to partially extract one and it seems to be a bunch of .bin files in them and I have a running theory if we can extract them fully....we should be able to mix and match contents from one to another to create new fighting styles from scratch and probably without glitches.

This is just a running theory atm and I have not had time to test it further.

It is possible.

Nop... Johnny's beta tornado kick isn't a mix... Or something like that...

The animator of bully uploaded the video of the beta johnny style and he said that rockstar games didn't liked.
But he doesn't eliminated it completly from the game... He hidded the rest of the style in missions.... Actually we only had found the Tornado Kick.

The tornado kick only works in Dishonourable Fight.. And johnny can use the kick IF he's near to darby... If darby reach the bar.... Johnny will stop kicking.

But WHY?
Because its ALL a AI!
DarbyAI have hidden a Johnny's beta AI.
In this case this AI enables the tornado kick.

Combining has given other moves like feints while fighting and also the tornado kick is a combined with Derby so what I'm asking is if we put johnny in other AIs will we uncover other hidden moves?

Then there is another way to get 'secret' moves instead of spawning derby AI?

Well, it's easier said than done. Not all moves work through this method.

Also, I don't know how it would work for the AI.

It's the Spanish way of saying "Hahahahahaha", since the "j" is pronounced as an "h", or in several cases not pronounced at all.

Like for example, take the famous skater Jon Julio. "Julio" is pronounced "Hulio". Or another example is Juan...it's pronounced "Wahn".

no, man, even if u do that, it wouldn't work cuz you need Johnnys beta AI.. its done in Scripts, he put the AI on endless summer

I can assure you he did it only by editing Act.

The DarbyAI only sets the attack to be triggered. However, the attack animation itself is in G_Johnny.

Idk how it works on an NPC, but for the player, that's how he did it.

I know this, because he's still working on trying to load Derby's boss script in free roam.
