Title: Places you can't go after Missions
Post by: BloodChuckZ on July 18, 2009, 07:21:41 PM
We all know of places you can get into AFTER a Mission (Harrington House, School Basement, the Asylum, Hatrick's yard.....) -- But what's up with places you CAN'T return to after a Mission (or Missions) ?? And why the hell not ??

Here's a list to get us started-------

The Fun House
The Junkyard
The Observatory
The Hobo's yard
The Staff room
The Auditorium
The Chemical Plant
The Tentament Building

Actually you can get back in the tenaments, through an errand by a police officer. But yeah, these places that you can't return to are some of my favorite locations, I wish I could go back. Another place not mentioned is the roof of the school.
On a side note, there is a wierd glitch on one of my saved games that doesn't let me back into the Harrington House.

One place I wish you couldn't go after missions is the C-Block in the assylum. That place just really creeps me out. It made me want to leave right away when I went back in there.

Try going out the exit door in the furnace room in "C" block -- You wind up in a fenced-in yard with no way out and you can't get back in the exit door -- Trapped !!!!

Pass out and you will wake up there -- Still Trapped !!!!

I've never been able to do that, that door has always been "unusable" to me after the mission....

Yup, probably just a glitch or something, similar to how I can't get into the Harrington House on one of my saved games but not the other.

It's true most of these places are cool, and when you wanna go back... you just can't
it's pity it would of been nice to be in :The Staff room, Auditorium, Chemical Plant,...

Title: Places you can't go after Missions
Post by: Mike_W on August 04, 2009, 04:23:14 PM
I believe so, but if I can find anywhere else it happens I'll let you know. BTW, I did check the whole C-Block/fenced in yard thing and I could get into the yard afterall, I just can't in the game that allowas me to enter the Harrington house. Wierd huh?
Title: Places you can't go after Missions
Post by: BloodChuckZ on August 04, 2009, 05:48:22 PM
I have 3 finished 100%, and I flip back & forth on them....One I was doing the other night wouldn't let me in to the yard, but I've never linked that with Harrington house before....I'll have to find the one that did, and then go check Harrington to see...

So, tell me, did you also get trapped in the yard, or maybe find a way out..??????
Title: Places you can't go after Missions
Post by: Mike_W on August 04, 2009, 06:05:54 PM
I sort of got trapped. If you have weapons on hand like firecrackers, you can commit "suicide" to get out, or, what I did was use the spud gun. You can shoot through the fence and hit the orderlies in the yard. If you stand close to the fence they can grab you and bust you.
Something else, there is a glitch that lets you walk through the rounded air conditioner near the door,  give it a try.

Weird, I can get in chemical plant even after Bustin In missions in my 100% savegame, but cannot enter on my other savegame. I am trying to make mods for bully and I will try making something about these.

You have to jump with a bike over fence.

I haven't made it yet, but I got real close.

Haha. I prefer spud gun, KO all of them, and then take some pics of them. They only go up the staircase you went up, so no flanking.

I've done that...Hit them with the spud cannon as they come up the stairs...All great fun....

I brought this back because we never got into any commentary about the Staff Lounge at the school....
It's been awhile, but I remember doing vandalism in there, buying sodas, and once was even busted in there by a teacher who entered just as I was fixing to leave....
Title: Places you can't go after Missions
Post by: Mike_W on January 16, 2010, 04:50:41 PM
That happened to me once!  I was about to leave and some shit head just walks in and chases after me.  It was right after smashing some chairs, so I thought maybe he heard the ruckus and came to investigate.  I still can never get that to happen again though.
Title: Places you can't go after Missions
Post by: BloodChuckZ on January 16, 2010, 06:09:00 PM
Maybe that's just a sorta one-time glitch ? Like Angie sleeping, never got that to happen again, no matter how many times I waited in that room.

I did smash stuff in there, but Don't think it was the time I was busted. I was really trying to beat the mission, so was just getting in and getting out, You know ? Only this prick teacher was just suddenly there...Didn't even have time to run.

Actually, I was hiding in the Wardrobe when that happened....Don't think she would have gone to bed otherwise....

I can't remember what Jimmy was wearing...Whether or not he had the black ninja suit on or not....I should go back and try it like that......

Oh, forgot....I wanted to mention the Beam Cola machine in the lounge....Don't recall it being at any other location where you couldn't access after a mission, can you ?

I even bought sodas in there, thinking it might change something regarding later access, but no go....

Oh shit! I did that extended lunch break thing at a place where I worked for a couple-three years....Management didn't give a shit as long as we got the production out...Which I always did....Turn a half-hour into 2 hours sometimes....

Thats fucked.  We don't have any steel mills around here, but we have almost everything else.  When my mom was a kid she lived in a city around here that had a ton of paper mills.  She said that every day on the way to school the river smelled horrible and was a different color every day.

No, my town really isn't a dump, except for the South end.  I live on the east side of town, which is a mix of suburban neighborhoods and farms.  The North side of town has all the industry, the West side of town has recently started to turn suburban, but is mostly woods and undeveloped land.  The South side however is like the ghetto.  It's next to the lake and has a ton of run down houses all packed in, they barely have yards.

Blue Skies reminds me of the South side of where I live.  The only differences are that there are no factories, and the houses are much closer together.

The sweet smell of a ghetto.... rotting human carcasses, smoke, marijuana, and the sweet smell of a diesel truck on fire. Ahh, the sounds.... The beautiful sound of police cars, screaming, gun fire, and the ambulance running people over.

Over there it's certainly the smell of weed (among other things) and the sound of domestic violence.

Next time I'm over there I'll try to snap a pic.  It's just a bunch of old dilapidated houses packed into tight neighborhoods.  Inhabited mostly by white trash.

Now that I think of it, why take a picture?  You could see this shit hole on google earth.  Just look for "Central Ave." in Sterling, MA.  See if you can spot the gray El Camino in someone's yard.  It's not just Central ave. either.  The "slum" is that whole neighborhood around it too.

You checked it out?  Yeah, it's not the greatest section of town.  I try to avoid driving through there whenever possible.

Driving through it ?  I'd avoid living anywhere near it....

Rat-Infested, desease-ridden, drug-running, Hooker-slutting, gang-banging place.....

Yes to all of the above, but I have never heard of prostitutes being over there.
