Title: I think I know how to mod Bully(Please read if your interested)
Post by: Ihatecompvir on June 27, 2007, 10:52:59 AM: I was fiddling around with PCSX2 and I then found out this little fact. Put Bully in your CDDVD Rom drive and then open the folder called "ACT" . In it, there is a ACT.IMG file. Know, here is JUST where things get good. Bully runs on the GTA:SA engine right? Well, why don't you open IMG tool and open that IMG file? It has FILES!(even TXD's, but I can't get them to appear) With some knowledge, you COULD mod Bully(extract files and mod, then place them BACK into the IMG Files) then burn all that data back to a disc, THEN it would be like a PS2 BackUp disc. You just boot it like a backed-up game. It starts, then you test - If it worked, then BAM! Bully mod fun for all! Please don't lock this thread, the Programming Bully fan might want to check this out. Hey - If GTA:SA can be modded, then Bully definently can!(I think) I wasn't able to do anything with the files, I can't program. You could make another weapon, or place a sledgehammer outside of the Tenements. DAT Files are the easiest I think to mod, just open them in NotePad.(You'll have some coordinates, and a couple of event names, but everything you can read not like a Black square. I thought a Bully Board would be the best place to announce this at, so I think someone should make a Bully Modding Board, if we ever get good at modding. Also, has ANYONE ever stated this before? Or has anyone even had the time to look?

No. They just changed clothing, weapons, colors and cars. Nothing absolutely amazing.

Actually, one of my ex-boyfriends was more into programming than anything (see why he's my ex?). He modded a lot of PC games, and some PS1 games on emulators. He did some pretty neat shit, to be honest.

new rideable vehicles, adding new weapons, this could be one of the funnest thing you could do to this game.

My main suggestion to you, though, is to back up your game (preferably on a DVD) before messing with any of the files, unless you're prepared to buy a new game.

Also, is your PS2 modded? Or do you have a PS2 emulator?

Now I'm using an Emulator so I don't have to keep burning discs, I edited a DAT file and now Dr. Crabblesnitch only says one thing before letting Jimmy free(or giving him detention) We REALLY should have a modding board.
