so this has nothing to do with modding, i got my computer back. because i wanted to change 32-bit to 64-bit operating system and it's done. i got my bully se back too. which is a good news. however, when i run bully it says "The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail". how do i fix that?

I had the exact same error and i tried fixing it in all the methods but nothing worked at the end I ended up formating my computer and when I did that it worked for me but I'm not sure if it will work for you

Do you have installed Microsoft Visual C++ on your PC?

I think maybe Bully cannot be used in 64-bit windows

I think maybe Bully cannot be used in 64-bit windows
i'm using windows 7. plus 64-bit can almost run most 32-bit games. correct me if i'm wrong

Bully most certainly can be run on 64-bit windows as I run a 64-bit version of Windows 7. Most 32-bit applications can run on a 64-bit Windows.
From www.cheifarchitect.com (https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-01046/message-the-application-has-failed-to-start-because-its-side-by-side-configuration-is-incorrect.html):
This issue is typically caused by a conflict between the program and one or more of the files in the C++ runtime libraries. These libraries are part of the Windows operating system and are used, and potentially updated, by installing or updating several Microsoft or other third party products.
If you are experiencing this error when launching or installing the program, and if the program repair option does not resolve the issue, the most effective method to correct this error is to uninstall and reinstall any Microsoft Visual C++ installations currently available on your computer before proceeding with the installation.

Bully has a lot of bugs, that is why.

The game's port wasn't fabulous, but it's certainly not as bad as most the GTA games before 5 were. It's not terribly buggy and you shouldn't just blame it on that and give up. It's almost certainly something with your microsoft C++ runtime libraries. I never had a problem with it so I can't give you too much advice from experience, but it does seem like you should reinstall those from microsoft's website or something. That error is also common with people new to the lua compiler, and the fix is the same thing, get those libraries.
-
so is there any way to fix it? or no way of fixing?
-
That error occurs because there is a problem with these programs on your computer: http://i.imgur.com/lm1zcBF.png (http://i.imgur.com/lm1zcBF.png)
Try and get this and tell us what happens: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145 (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145)

I fixed it by simply formatting my pc but I don't know if this method works for everyonr

I'm using 64-bit. I've even used Bully on a 64-bit version of Windows 8, and right now i'm using a 64-bit windows 7.
As far as I know, DaBoss and SWEGTA also use 64-bit operating systems.
-
I use 64 bit also, it usually runs a little better on the 64 then 32. Their was less lag's and crashes for me. Try installing the Microsoft updates or Microsoft Packs, I can't remember which but go to Miccrosoft.com

But on the 64-bit version, you DO need the 1.200 patch in most cases. My computer needed that patch.
Without it, all the world was invisible. I could still see peds, and chairs, and jimmy and blips and books and such. But the ground and walls, all invisible. I could just see right through; seeing the pink void. (omfg that sounded so emo lmao)
