Title: Does any one have the Remove Sky-dome Mod?

Post by: possom2009 on March 12, 2015, 07:34:25 PM: Hmm, pretty much. I have the ps2 version also. I'm not sure if the files on the ps2 disc would work for the pc version. I seem to remember someone doing that with GTA:SA,using files from the console version on the pc version.

I do not know why people even want to remove it since I think it made the game look much better. :/
To install, replace default.dat in Bully Folder > Config > dat.

Thanks! Now I need to figure out how to remove the bloom effects from the game. When I'm inside a building its tolerable, but when outside there is a sorta glow effect on everything.

Post by: Unknownsoldier on March 14, 2015, 02:26:00 PM: Well the best and SAFEST way to remove your skydome fully, is to go to <BULLYROOT>\Config\dat and open default.ide in any notepad.

If you haven't edited it yet, it should look like this:

#
# Resident object definitions

##IDE Objects\default.ide
#
#enable plant generator
#
#SHRUB_GEN MODELS\SHRUBS\SHRUBINF.DAT

#skydome
SKY_DOME SKYTOP
SKY_DOME SKYBOT
SKY_DOME SKYOBJS1

#enable detail textures

DETAIL_TEX

To SAFELY disable the skydome, is to go to this part:

#skydome
SKY_DOME SKYTOP
SKY_DOME SKYBOT
SKY_DOME SKYOBJS1

and safely add a # before all of the SKY_DOME things. So once finished, it should look like this:

#

#SKY_DOME SKYTOP
