What is that weird wavy thing in the beginning? A messed up ped rig?

I tried to rig the ruler wit an axe, but i forgot to change the scaling, and was too lazy to fix it

You should do a sword, cause the charge attack for that weapon like thrusts forward, which would be awesome with a sword.
