Title: Camera Pictures? (Advanced question)

When you take pictures with your camera or digital camera are they stored on your memory card seperately from your save file? I was just wondering if you can extract your saved pictures from your memory card like you could do in San Andreas with the 2 programs. I would like to take some of my pictures and share with you guys if you can extract them from the memory card?
