Title: Gary final showdown glitch super mod?

I was using the mission selector from the super mod. I picked the final showdown. When i was fighting Gray i noticed that his attacks are not connecting with jimmy and do no damage. Also when i was hitting Gary he changed styles. It looked like Russel's but it was hard to tell because he was crouching. Is there a problem with my pedstats or is this part of the super mod. i was also wondering if this happens anywhere else in the game with the super mod where someone does no damage and changes styles?

P.S after playing the boxing challenge part 2 the game got stuck at the loading screen. Also when i played the final showdown for the second time it skipped right to the fight.

Edit   i just did the mission Russel in the hole and his punches don't connect and do no damage

That's because the peds respect towards you. For example if the preppies respect is 100% and you replay a mission where you fight preppies then their attacks won't connect. But if your respect is lower to 100% then their attacks will damage you.
About Russell running animation, Gary performs the same animation when he uses his special grapple.

EDIT

I just remembered that when i did the boxing challenge mission derby's attacks did connect AND do damage as well as the other preps. Does this only apply to some people?
