This all depends on what you want to accomplish.
There are plenty of useful tutorials and guides here.
Just look at the Scripting or Tutorials sections.

Swegta's tutorials is what i learned from. i recomend that.

Even tho they only cover little of the basic and it's really a shame that Simon didnt make more of them.
My tutorial covers basic - medium and advanced.
I'm currently on a few days retirement from modding or tutorial making because I want to fully focus on a machinima I'm doing plus on the script for the new Vincent season.
