The camera angle changes on me all the time when I am running around. Sometimes I can see why, but other times (when I am chasing people) it is making it impossible to get around (and do things that should be easy like complete early missions). Anyone else have a similar problem?
-
some reviews have said in tight corridors its hard to control the camera
-
and its hard to simultaneously move jimmy and the camera
-
ant u pack the camera and then get it out ? the gta camera as good :P
oh yeh... is ti like the gta camera or a bigger one ? lol
-
The game camera is definitely not as smooth as I'd like. It always likes to snap back into place. Just a tiny gripe,tho........
-
Yeah, nothing game changing.
-
What are you talking about haroon?
-
Huh... What I have been seeing has been really annoying, almost has been "game changing." For example in one of the really early tasks (chasing this guy around the school) the camera keeps switching from behind Jimmy to in front of Jimmy (and then sometimes to a view where I don't see Jimmy at all).
Maybe my controller is sending some weird signals out. Thanks for directing me to the reviews. I'll see what they say.

The view about ''not seeing Jimmy'' is probably when you try to whip the camera around too close to a wall....but I could be wrong. :) That's what this game does when it's pulled in too tight to Jimmy - goes into a 1st person thing.
And the ''behind then in front''? Sounds like you're pressing down the look behind stick.....but I could be wrong. :)
It took me some time too adjust to how the game camera acts and say to myself ''Well...that's just how THIS game is'' and then forget about it.

A lot of people complain about the camera view in many games and I've never felt like them, well maybe Bully will be the first.
-
Is the camera totally ruining the game? Is it impossible to play it?

ive only had a few missions which it troubled me
-
live with the camera :P

I think I know exactly what your problem is, and the good news is there is sort of a fix. I had this exact same problem in the early missions -- I kept running into things because the camera would switch to the rear view. What I eventually figured out is that my controller's L3 button is very sensitive, and when I would push hard in one direction, it would often trigger L3, which is the look-behind button. Once I realized the problem, I was able to be more careful about hitting it. It still happens sometimes when I get carried away, but the key is to be gentle on the analog stick. Hope that solves it for you.

Phew, thanks man. I was sweating there for sure.

Good to know I wasn't the only one...

Ah! Great tip there. Even before I saw this I was trying to go easy on the analog stick and hit helped. I'll post back if this doesn't make my life - er, Jimmy's life - a bit easier.
