I know this is more of a tech question, but I only want to know for Bully only.
My birthday is coming up and I'm getting a new laptop, my parents have looked at some with me and we found this laptop
AMD E2-1800 processor
Windows 8
Memory: 6 GB
Hard drive: 750 GB
Graphics: AMD Radeonâ„¢ HD 7340
Touch screen: No
£300!
Or
Intel® Core™ i5-3337U processor
Windows 8
Memory: 4 GB
Hard drive: 750 GB
Touch screen: No
Graphics not specified on the Intel i5 Processor.
So which one would be better?
Also ignore Windows 8. Once I get my laptop, I'm installing Windows 7.
-
I'd recommend the one with 6 GB RAM and the graphics specified.
But why not build one yourself?
-
Because I haven't had much luck with the hardware in the past.
Also the HP Pavilon G6 [First laptop] is only £300! Quite cheap.
-
I should imagine it's around $500 in US dollars/Brazilian money.
-
Yes it would. i play bully on:
IntelCore 2 Duo 2,33 ghz
2 gb ram
Geforce 210.
NO lag on low grapics. With Fps cap remover
-
Slight bump:
The laptop I'm getting has the following:
Intel Core i5/i7 Processor [2.6GHz/3GHz]
4GB/6GB RAM
500GB/750GB/1TB HDD
Intel HD Graphics 4000
Windows 8 Pro
I get to choose.
I checked on Game Debate and these are the results of all games I want to run:
GTA San Andreas: Highest settings [Issues running on Windows 8, I know a fix though]
Bully Scholarship Edition: Highest settings
Call of Duty: World at War: Highest settings
Call of Duty: Black Ops: Medium-High settings
GTA IV/TLAD/TBOGT: Medium Settings [Avoid HD mods if possible, Intel HD 4000 not offically supported.]
Team Fortress 2: Highest Settings
Minecraft: Highest settings

I hear a lot of trash about Windows 8. Let us know what you think when you get it ?
-
I did install Windows 8 on this PC before. I got it for Christmas.
My own personal opinion.
Pros:
Very fast. A lot faster than Windows 7.
Can check your emails without going to IE9/Chrome/Firefox
Greeted with the latest news when you log in. [If you signed in with your Microsoft account]
Fantastic OS for tablets.
Cons:
Lack of start button
Compatibility issues with older games and programs. [Photoshop CS4 needs Win7 compatability and older games, such as GTA SA need a special DLL to run]
Crappy OS for non touch-screen desktop computers or laptops.
Very limited useage if you don't sign in with your Microsoft account. [I presume it's similar on Mac OS X but with iTunes and the Mac App Store]
Annoying text on the desktop. [Windows 8 Pro with Media Center]
Overall: 6.9 out of 10.
If your on a non touchscreen laptop or desktop computer, then I recommend sticking with Windows 7.

^ That would be me, I don't have any touchscreens.
