Title: About fighting style
Post by: 1stGarySmithFan on March 16, 2013, 03:37:16 PM: Well... When I add a fighting style, I can't talk anybody. How can I get rid of this? I mean, without holding weapons ?

all styles work fully via lua except for the boss styles and the wrestling and mascot. otherwise every style functions more or less perfectly and the only thing that has to be manually added is the strafe animations which has to be called a certain way.

I will post a howto in the scripts section in a day or two on how to change fighting styles that way.

Post by: MadmaN on March 17, 2013, 05:04:21 AM: well....I can easily just release a script that does everything that is needed....but I would rather turn this into a proper tutorial and lesson since otherwise noone will really learn much of how lua works just by looking at a script and not having things explained fully.

This would be about the same as a teacher in school giving you a bunch of homework on theoretical physics without first explaining the basics of it to you so you get a basic grasp of it.
