Darby Can Block, Don't Stop Fighting, I Love It! But He Don't Avoid ducking,

And Sometimes Don't Backstep. Need Help!

Well, first off, to ensure Derby's attacks work fine, add these to his animation groups:

P_Striker
P_Grappler
Boxing

As for his AI...it's tricky. But basically, you have to change /Global/AI..Act/AI/AI.act. to /Global/DarbyAI.Act/AI/AI_DARBY_2_B.act...

Which is hard.

Here's how I have Pinky in ide form...

PRGirl_Pinky....PRGirl_Pinky_W......Medium..BULLY...STAT_BIKEPROJ...F_Preps.P_Striker...Boxing..P_Grappler....../Global/BOSS_Darby..Act/Anim/BOSS_Darby.act./Global/AI..Act/AI/AI.act

This has the full style (with block) minus the evades. So to get the evades, it must be like this:

PRGirl_Pinky....PRGirl_Pinky_W......Medium..PREPPY..STAT_BIKEPROJ...F_Preps.P_Striker...Boxing..P_Grappler....../Global/BOSS_Darby..Act/Anim/BOSS_Darby.act./Global/DarbyAI.Act/AI/AI_DARBY_2_B.act

If I had a working ide with his style, I'd release it. But that's the thing...I don't. I only do it through lua.

None of the things you have listed are animation groups aside from Boxing...they don't even exist. xD

What the... o_O

I got darby boss fighting style from a mod insanitygames made before his section in the modding section was removed. Does it make any diference? Darby boss fighting style in my ide works fine and doesn't have any missing attacks. Oh well... I will copy the animations from your code.

F_Preps.P_Striker...Boxing..P_Grappler....../Global/BOSS_Darby..Act/Anim/BOSS_Darby.act./Global/DarbyAI.Act/AI/AI_DARBY_2_B.act

it's gap 10 word so i try Two Guys Striker act -> Grappler act but remain 2 word.

How Make it No gap? Help.

For now, keep the AI as AI (NOT DarbyAI and AI_DARBY_2_B) and try it.

The easiest way to get his evade is through lua. Painless, and no space issues.

No, you need his AI to do this.

DarbyAI and then AI_DARBY_2_B. But, writing it in the ide is not easy.

I try 2 guys Grappler -> Striker and delete 8 word gap.

but i can't delete 2 word gap. tell me switch what plz.

He doesn't evade very often.
Maybe it's because his block frequency is higher than his evade frequency. I don't know if the evade frequency applies to his boss evade.

^ I had a problem with my game where Derby just outright refused to evade...I had no idea why.

But, when I boot up a script where AnimationGroups are loaded, he evades a hell of a lot...it makes no sense.

I'm trying that but game is crush. Help!

I don't know a better way to explain how to replace AI. I explained every single detail there.
