I have gone through the tutorial on how to add removed characters and successfully added Gary . However I am looking to add the deleted character Ian; problem is When I search the ide.img file with HxD for the word(technically name) Ian it does not come up with the character I am looking for. instead it highlights siangirl....GN_A which is the second line for the character Pinky. If anyone can help me I would very much appreciate it. ^-^

Click control and f this might help you. He's probaly not in the ide.img you have to go to the world ide.img and do a character swap with another character.

^ He IS in the ide.
Click anywhere under Asian, and then search his name.

But deleted characters are another thing. Just try to search in the Model ID list, or ask Madman in a pm.

Sorry it took me so long to reply to this I had some personal problems to take care of. (You don't want to know) O.k. so i used red blasters solution and I found something that looks promising. The line is: AI/AI.act...N_Ian...}...TO_Asylumpatient....TO_Asylumpatient........Huge....TOWNPERSON..STAT_DO_STRIKER_A...F_Douts.DO_Striker..DO_StrikeCombo..Straf_Dout..ÿÿÿÿ
Ian in N_Ian is highlited when I do the search. Next to the last part: Straf_Dout..ÿÿÿÿ there is the FF FF FF FF that I will have to change. Problem is I am not sure if I should without screwing up the ide.img.... I uh kinda forgot to create a back up... Hey it was a simple mistake. It could have happened to anyone......

No, the thing after Straf_Dout is for another character. Change the FF FF FF FF for the one before N_Ian.

Thanks for your help red blaster I will do that later. I need some help with something else though. I need some help modifying the handling.cfg file to allow the red bmx to do a higher bunny hop like the blue bmx.

I miss the Blue BMX Bike lol. I have never edited the handling.cfg so I can't help you there
