Hi, does anyone know how to hire more than one ally in bully SE, I've been making new characters that I want to be walking with, I want at least two allies walking with me.

this part seems to determin a spawned bodyguard, (which i think is the only hope for getting custom bodyguards at the moment, spawning them as recruited, i'll look into this with mad if he want to, when he and I have got the v1 vehicle spawner sorted, (it should be ready for release v soon)

The problem is we don't have a list of ped models, which is a much needed part to spawn a selected custom bodyguard

Sorry, I didn't mean it that way...but he's asked this question before and nobody answered...whether this is due to being unable to figure it out, or because people ignored, I don't know. I assumed the former.

irrelevent from this topic i'll give you an update on the vehicle spawner
we basicly cracked the vehicle model list last night :cool:, which was a MUCH needed breakthrough for the whole project, without that we wouldn't be able to do much with customising which vehicle actually spawns (not fully cracked yet, but we're working on it.), aside that we're still struggling in getting jimmy to attach INSIDE the spawned vehicle :-\, so we're gonna have to just allow it to spawn bikes and scooters for now, some of these bikes i must say i've never seen before, but thats just probably me, i don't think mads tested them out just yet to double check if any of them are BETA's, anyway it should be released v soon, and i think this v1 release will be one that was worth waiting for.

Thanks Steman, I think we could try using the ped model names from ide.img ex: PRH1a_Tad_BW

the model id determins what ped spawns, carl as you know i've never been too good at explaining things but i'll try, their is a model id for every ped in the game.
eg) PRH1a_Tad_BW, DOlead_Russell_BU, NDH1a_Algernon_W etc
changing the model id would change who would spawn so if i used
PedCreateXYZ....€?.....PedRecruitAlly...... would recruit johnny's bird forgot her name
PedCreateXYZ....€B.....PedRecruitAlly...... would spawn the biology tutor
iv'e somewhat experimented with this minimally and it seems that they are possibly recruited via faction, so you wouldn't be able to recruit a teacher and girls you recruit will hold your hand, unless presumably you changed their faction, i'm not too sure about this as i say i havn't looked into it fully
sadly we don't have the full list of these peds with their model id's, but i'm sure it would be easy enought to at least obtain a credible list,
@red we've got the full vehicle list now :), but now the problem is getting these vehicles driveable in free roam, most we're at so far is enabling the police bike fully, i'll keep you informed, release should be done soon

red regarding the spawner, iv'e managed to get the vehicles to work in races, (full handling, full collision, right sounds) but when you finish the race the ai at the end takes over, what i'm after is a mission of somesort which automaticlly spawns you on the gocart at the beggining, this would be the answer to all our prayers, iv'e tried it with a bike mission, but it dusn't warp you inside the vehicle, only bikes, thus why we have the police bike working, changing the cars to bikes in ide results in a instant crash, so if you can think of somesort of a mission where you start in a car (preferably not a race) it would get the ball rolling

I want to have atleast 4 allies, for my retextured members of NCS, I've spawned them as greasers and they hangout with them, but to make it look like my own gang, I want them walking with me and since I play as the ped in my profile avatar, so i'll be walking my new character with all new peds, "bully 2"!!!

the intro to out-of-towners, you can see 6 greasers coming to the fb field, I'm assuming he recruited them as allies.

@ Red we're trying the street races but as i say it either results in a crash or the ai takes over when you win.
iv'e seen the video and they look more like their chasing him than with him, anyway I won't have any free time untill iv'e got this mod sorted

My New Coventry Soldiers (NCS) clique now spawn as greasers in the Graveyard, and the greasers are now students.

reason why its such a small amount of ppl is because not many in the little community have a higher knowledge regarding how the game works internally. Only myself and a few others have basicly gotten as far as we have for the moment until either one of us cracks somthing else or someone comes along with more knowledge and skill. I myself am working on a way to enable several hidden things in the game that would be a nice start but its proving extremely difficult to say the least. I am working on basicly a type of trainer to allow changing skins...spawn vehicles...etc using a ingame menu but mapping out the needed memory addresses is whats hard and due to how trainers work...this may be extremely limited. I am however experimenting on a possible way to get the bully debug menu working which is a built in menu in the game that has a lot of debug functions on it....some of which allow cheating via health..ammo..weapons...plus spawning and warping to diff areas...etc since I have been taking a detailed look into the game executable which i decompiled about 90% of it into assembly bytecode and there is quite a lot that can be enabled...but getting it working is the hard part. Will just take time and patience really and a little bit of luck.

^ Looks like somebody got there before you. BullyIMod123 fully decompiled Bully.exe and got the debug mode working.

Yup and I posted in his topic since he has already shared the assembly source with me. I will be working with him on this as well as finishing my work with helping Steman on the mods he and I have planned.

Lol, they're actually hispanic, black, and I've made a few white members, but those are the ones that spawned at the moment of the picture, hahah

I've read about being able to put your own models in. So how many of these guys are there?
Also you said they spawn as Greasers in the Graveyard and the greasers spawn as students? What does that exactly mean in terms of where they spawn and such?

Greasers spawning as students means they're tied to the non-clique faction, whereas his clique are tied to the Greaser clique.

I can explain pretty much how the spawning works if anyone wants to know since I am a little vague in my tutorial since I wrote that rather fast. All of the spawning is controlled via the trigger.img file (namely the individual *.dat files inside that).

That's what I thought it meant... Meaning there's a Greasers here and there and they don't hang out in New Coventry or the autoshop anymore? Does that also mean they get bullied by practically everyone else and have conversations with non-clique students? Or is that dependant on the character in question?
Sorry for stupid questions, but I'd rather try understand and appreciate the 'art' that people do here rather than be silent and ignorant forever :P.

There's no such thing as a stupid question if it hasn't been answered already.
Basically, they spawn wherever non-cliques are set to spawn. And assuming the "Attitude" file hasn't been messed with, then yes, most people will try to pick fights with them. BUT, whether they back down depends on their size.

wether they back down also depends on their aggressive setting in pedstats which when set to 100 means they will be fully aggressive and if they are set to have a fear factor of 0 and crimminality to 100...then they will pick fights with anyone regardless of the clique's settings on attutides toward other cliques.

I also agree that there is no such thing as a stupid question...ppl that call any question stupid are just plain ignorant of the fact that not everyone knows the same things...and not everything is common knowledge to everyone which is why in the game modding communities we have coders...we have tutorial creators...we have skinners...we have scriptors....we have forum mods that also help a person in need even if its somthing small like explaining somthing a bit more clear....etc and this way everyone can help one another with a particular issue without anyone worrying about trying to know everything out there. Any question that I know that I can answer I will answer to the best of my ability and I am sure that everyone else on this forum will do much the same if its within their power at the time.
The interesting thing is....when you combine everyone on this forum that has any modding knowledge or experience...and take the best of each person and roll that into one massive thing....you will find that nearly anything can be solved or figured out and thats what I try to help do when I am part of any community. I am sure Red knows exactly where I am comming from when I say that along with anyone else thats been on this forum for any amount of time
