Has anyone who goes back and beats the game a second time found out how damn hilarious the dialogue is in some of the missions?
Today I went back and did the mission "wrong part of town" and found myself laughing very hard. When Lola is talking to Chad, asking him for $100, Algie interjects and Lola says "shut up fatso!" to which Algie mutters quietly "Big boned, I'm not fat...".
Then, near the end of the conversation Algie interupts again and Lola says "Zip it lard-ass!" (I found this so damn funny) As Jimmy is about to escape on Chad's bike he says "Algie, you take the girl's bike!" and you can hear Algie groaning and muttering "of course..."
More funny quotes happen when the greasers show up- Ricky: "Is that Algie...on a girl's bike!" and lastly, as I was slingshotting the greasers chasing me, Vance fell off his bike and yelled "Oww! Somebody check my hair!"
-
That has happened to me in a few missions. I can't remember which ones but I'll get back to you on that.
-
I will say they wrote the dialog with a lot of humor....Part of what makes this such a great game...
-
It makes more sense the second time you play it.
-
That mission I mentioned in the first post was the fucking funniest mission I remember though. Many of the missions are humorous, but that one was just fuckin' great!
-
That's one of my favorite missions because of it's dialogue and the level itself.
-
I also liked the mission "Rats in the Library". "Algie! Did you piss yourself again?!"..."I spilled soda on my pants"...."Yeah, soda..."
-
Yes! That is the one I was thinking of.
-
The Clint missions (Mailbox Armageddon) are pretty weird, and yet rather funny.
-
Oh you're talking about scholarship edition. When I first read the post I was like "Clint missions?" WTF.
-
Yeah, I got the version for 360. More missions, classes etc. Which means longer time to 100%
-
What extra classes, and what do you have to do for them ?
-
I think there is a music and a Biology class from what I understand.
-
And a math class too, I thought I heard.
I don't have any walkthroughs for any other versions than the PS2...
I guess I could get off my dead ass and go look.....
-
I think you're right, there is a math class as well as a geography class. Shit, just when you thought you had a lot of classes to begin with.
-
Wonder why they make slightly different versons of the same game for different gaming systems....I first noticed this with Resident Evil 1 years ago, when I got one of those giitzy Guidebooks showing a whole nother area behind the stairs in the mansion for another game console...
Pissed me off then and still pisses me off now....
-
Biology - dissection simulator
Music - use LT and RT to hit notes in time (L2, R2 for PS2)
Math - mulitple choise math questions
Geography - pin the flag in the correct area (country, state)
-
Yes, I know exactly what you mean! The cutscene "Boxing Challenge" is so hysterical to me!
"So how do I do it, Pete?"
"Do what?"
"Beat those rich kids into submission."
"Well, what have you tried so far?"
"Random violence, widspread destruction, gratuitous sadism."
"No, that won't work. They get all that stuff at home."
I memorized it. I know I'm such a loser, but its so damn funny!
-
Trust me, there are plenty of lines that I've memorized. It's not that I try to, but they are just so damn funny.
-
I liked Earnst getting picked on at the start of 'The Canadate', which was a hard mission for me to get by for awhile....
Hey, Jessi is back....Again.
-
" Class Presi...Class Pre..." "It says class President, dummy!"
-
I like the way he reacts when they give him the Wedgie....
-

I found the first ten seconds of this mission hillarious!!
-
The part where Ted suggests taking a shit on city hall's front steps was hilarious!
-
I liked the way whoever did this video avoided trouble...Although they could've taken the bus back to school after the Photo.....
Seeing this again makes me realize that the cliques intent was to bring Jimmy down, as they were all goading him to do this, knowing what the outcome would be…And Jimmy was just too stupid to see it.
-
And when Earnest looks the the photo (almost) alone...
-
Hey, Jessi is back....Again.
Hello again, Chuck! :)
-
BTW, I did the Hattrick VS Galloway mission again, and I realized that Hattrick does walk like Algie ! I laughed alot seeing him returning back to the principal office.
-
That's 'cause he's a fat-ass!
-
Hello again, Chuck! :)
You should stick around longer this time.
-

Yeah, he got caught up in the "crowd"
and was blinded by the truth that people would stab him the back if they had the oppurtunity to.
-
Bragging about being the King doesn't help any, but clearly Earnst and Derby were working him, playing him, into geting him to do what they almost certanly knew would bring down a whole pile of trouble on him....And thereby get him expelled.
"Loyal Subjects", my ass.
-
I don't think they really worked Jimmy into anything. If you listen to Pete when Jimmy gets back from the town hall, he says that everything went out of control while Jimmy was gone thanks to Gary.
-
Loyal Subjects, eh ? The fucking hypocrite...
"That was VERY FUNNY, Jimmy !"
He yells into your ear...
-
True....But by sending Jimmy on a "Sucide Mission", maybe figuring he would be caught, they might figure they were free of "The King Of Bullworth Academy"....Messing with the school was one thing, but defacing the Town Hall would all but guarantee that Jimmy would soon be removed from power one way or another, freeing the cliques to resume all their pent-up mayhem.
-
Fuck that... Jimmy should have been king for a longer time... What abbout if he listened to Pete ?
-
That was Jimmy's problem....He never much listened to Pete.
-
He probably listened to 10% of the words that came out of Pete's mouth.
-
That's bad... With Pete as brain, he could have been a real king. Tony will be more attentive. ;)
-
Damn right.....
Only....If Pete "runs" the school, what, exactly does he do ?
What is his role in relation to Crabblesnich and the rest of the administration ?
-
He would run the school pschologically. I mean really, who ever listens to what the principal has to say?
-
I think that after I figgured out how to put down the marbles before going up to the big Spud Gun and watching all the Jocks fall on their ass while I was shooting them was about the funniest mission ever.....
