Title: Lockpicking controls

I've got a rollerball mouse where the mouse remains stationary and all action is from the ball controller.  This is not working for the lockpicking in the first chapter.  I don't see any options to change lockpicking to a key control or anything in the game.  Any suggestions (besides buying a regular old fashioned mouse)?
