Hi there! I love playing Bully and I noticed u've got a pretty friendly atmosphere, guys, so here I am=) I'm Yana, but u can call me Jane=) :cheernutz:
-
Well, hello, Yana.
I'll tell you true, usually stuff from Russia we ban because it most always shows up as Spammers. However, if you're legit, then there is no problem with you staying.
I don't recall ever a real poster from Russia on here, so you may be the first. Most one here are from the USA, but we have some from the UK, Australia, Europe, and the Middle East.
So welcome, and perhaps you can tell us about how Bully is in Russia.
-
wow, didn't know the russians spoil this place! No spam, i promise))
Well, Bully's not very popular here, unlike GTA, i don't even remember how i got to know about it, but it totally blew me away! What i really like about the game is the scenes before the missions - thanks God i don't need the subtitles and i'm able to enjoy the way the characters are drawn and the way they speak, they're awesome!
As for myself, I guess I'll tell u a bit more about me - I'm 20 and i'm a student of the faculty of foreign languages, so if i'm lucky i'm gonna be an interpreter and if i'm not - u now see a teacher of english and french in front of u=))
-
Welcome to Bully Board.
-
Well, you check out clean. And you sound nice too.
Check us down in General Discussion, mostly a lot hang out there.
-
thanks a lot)) :-*
-
We have a five ladies who regularly post on here, ranging in age from 15-25.
All the rest are guys. We also have a Modding Section. Plus a bunch of other fun stuff.
Welcome aboard, and I hope you like it here !
-
Cool)) What's ur name, btw?
U've got lots of stuff here, but i've got the whole summer to look through it))) I think i'll pay special attention to bully2 plot and different stories, writing is my passion.
Oh, while i remember - here in russia there arise pieces of news from time to time about bully2 being ready to come out, is it true?
-
Naw...We get some false rumors from time to time, but nothing official from RockStar as yet. There's still hope though. *cross fingers*
If you like writing, we have a whole story section here, for all kinds of FanFic. Check it out.
I'm Chuck, BTW, one of the moderators on site. Chrissy is our Admin.
-
Nice to meet u and be received so warmly
As a matter of fact i roamed about this site a year ago and found it really exciting and i even tried to register but i was banned at once)))) sweet-home-russia has nearly ruined our meeting!
-
That's regretful....99% of all the Russian signups I check come up as Spammers, so I can see where you might have had trouble getting in to stay. But, like I said, I just ran a check and you came up clean, so no worries about that.
It's early morning here in the US, and I'm about to the end of my 'shift', so to speak. Others will be dropping in here later, although school is over for the summer so it's hard telling just when they will show up. We are at 8 am Eastern Time about now. I don't know what time zone you're in now, but I suspect there is a 12 hour difference ?
Two of our regular girls are in the UK (Rox & Nais) and the rest are on Eastern Time in the US here (Em, Haylo, Chrissy). The best time to catch people here is about 10-16 hours from now, though we are liable to pop in anytime.
I love reading FanFics (I've been writing on a rather long one on here for about 2 & half years). Can't wait to read anything, Short Story or even longer, you might want to post. There's also a bunch of Vids on here also.
-
Hey, Jane. Welcome to Bully-Board!
-
Hi, Scummy))
Chuck, yep, the difference is exactly 12 hours, so my day is getting to an end)
-
hahahaha, hey there, Nais! :a-cheer:
-
Hey.I like writing stories as well.I am from Egypt.
-
Hi!=) Have u posted any of your stories here?
-
Welcome to B-B Jane.
-
Welcome to BB!
-
Hi!=) Have u posted any of your stories here?
I had a story started. It's called A Tale Of Two Headboys, but I didn't complete it yet.
-
King Cobra, Milkey_W, hello! :a-cheer:
Mohamed, cool, r u gonna write it to the end? (I'll read it some time)
-
Sure, but I just need more time, because here in Egypt we have some politician problems, so I'm mentally disturbed from writing, but when I have time,I'll complete it.
-
Wow, Turkey, Egypt, and now Russia. Some very exotic locales (at least to my American POV). Welcome to Jane, Mohamed, and all the other newbies. (Sorry, I'm lousy at remembering to welcome new members)

I hear you finally have a new president, though I would prefer someone more secular. But hey, at least he's not a Nasserist. (Sorry if I'm assuming too much about your politics/religion...I've got in trouble for that before around here)
-
Al G, hi! Wow, now i'm exotic))))) ;D
Mohamed, what city do u live in?
-
I live in Nasr City,in Cairo Governrate
-
Unfortunately, never heard of it.
The TV is crammed full of news that there are some military actions in Egypt, however the tourists claim it's peaceful and quiet there. Given the informational war, we can hardly trust the TV. What's ur opinion on the situation in Egypt?
-
I don't believe we ever got a member from Russia, though we have an Eastern European member here (Scummy, from Bulgaria).
Nice to meet you, and welcome aboard. I'm Jordanian, though I originate from Palestine. :)
Where in Russia are you at, if you don't mind me asking? Moscow, St. Petersburg...?
-

Nasr City is the biggest city in Cairo, the capital of Egypt. For the politicial state,I think we're in a not so good state.Everyone here is not talking about anything except politics.Yesterday, the military claimed the results of the presidental elections, which is the winning of someone called Mohamed Morsy.
-
くにお, hi))) What's ur name?
U know, it's strange indeed that i'm the first russian here (which i'm extremely proud of already :D) because there is a social network in russia (smth like facebook) and there's a society devoted to Bully and there are 4 and a half thousand people!! Probably they don't sign in here coz they're too young to master english..
Nope, these two cities have nothing to do with me, i'm from Chelyabinsk, not a very popular city but nevertheless beautiful))

I have a friend named Yana. I love that name, it's so pretty. :) (and I prefer 'Yana' to 'Jane', just saying)
I'm Chrissy, and welcome to the forums! Hope you stick around. :)
-
Mohamed, so is it actually dangerous in there or what?
-
Chrissy, hi, thanks a lot))) Where is ur friend Yana from?
-
Well...I never revealed my real name, but you can call me Red (since my original username was Red Blaster, a character from Metal Gear).
Chelyabinsk...heard the name before, but never really looked it up. Beautiful pics, by the way. I've always wanted to take a tour in Russia (primarily in cities like Moscow, Kazan, St. Petersburg, and the sort). :D
-
Born in Russia, lived thered for a while, then she and her family came here. I don't remember what area she was from, though.
I can read and translate some Russian, too. I learned the Cyrillic alphabet when I was younger, and since I knew the Greek alphabet already, it was fairly easy to learn that.
How long have you been speaking English? You speak it (or at least type it :P) pretty well.
-
@everyone else: notice we're treating her like a shiny new toy? XD
-
ooh! Shiny things!
-
Yes,It is dangerous.During the revolution, most of the prisoners escaped and are still wanted. The police are doing their best to catch them but, their numbers are so HUGE!
-
Hello Yana! And hello to you too, Mohamed. I forgot to welcome you the other day because I'm a terrible person. :'|
Nice pictures there~ I'm Hayley (also known as "Hay-Hay" and "Haylo") and I live in New York. I'm not sure what else I can say about myself, so yeah. :'D Welcome.
-
Never mind Hayley, you're a very nice person
-

.تنساش بعدين انه في كثير ناس مندسّين بس عشان يخربو ثورة مصر
-
Red, alright, it reminds me of the character from "Shawshank Redemption" - one of my favourite movies))) If i were a foreigner, I'd never come to Russia, probably, because i know it too well to admire, but as far as i can see foreigners here in Chelyabinsk are greeted warmly.
Chrissy, woooow, I've always worshiped foreigners who can speak russian coz i realize it's extremely difficult, if i were, say, from england, i'd never ever dare to even start to learn it!
I've been learning english for 5 years already, started too late, i guess (7 months before the final exam which took me to the faculty of foreign languages), but i succeeded and i'm totally in love with the language
Mohamed, oooh it's that bad!!! I hope u're alright in there!
Hayley, hi! NY rules)))))
PS damn what a long discussion we're having here, i hope it won't be considered a spam! :innocent:
-
Roxie's intro thread hit 17 pages of chit chat and ....stuff. XD
I don't speak Russian particularly well, it takes me a few tries to pronounce things properly, but I can read it better than I speak it. Same for Greek and Spanish. Read 'em better than I speak 'em.
-
Hi there!
We're so glad to have you! :D
-
still it's cool) I have a friend from Greece who's learning russian, he said the most difficult thing for him was writing. 'I'm always amazed at you, russians, writing so fast, it takes me several minutes to write Д' :D
-
Dave, hi, i'm equally glad to be had by u)))))
-
We (heart) new members!
-
All you guys know so many different languages, I'm impressed. Americans whine about having to learn Spanish. I took Japanese in high school but I was a dumb kid who didn't pay attention and now I don't remember any of it.
Mohamed, I am sorry to hear that. Strange enough, I wonder if Russia was the same way just after the USSR fell. (Yana, that is a pretty name BTW, anyway being that you're only 20 I don't know if you remember those difficult years of your country's history)
-
Al G, i don't remember myself, but from what my parents told me, that was just terrible, i can't even imagine how people could live in such conditions and still be so cheerful
-
^ Family and friends I would imagine.
-
yeah, i guess so)
BTW, guys, i posted a short story like i'd promised so if u're interested, i'd like to know ur opinion
-

I need to learn Spanish. Well, I don't need to, but it'll be a plus for ny future career.
-

Aside from my mother language, Arabic, and English which I can read, write, and speak fluently, I know a bit of French, Spanish, and Japanese.
I want to tackle German and Russian one day.
-
Д is a fucking hard letter and I could never write it like that, a D is much easier and teachers don't mind.
-
Red, wow, that's amazing!!!
Scummy, u learn russian too?
-
Haha, naw. The Bulgarian alphabet is almost the same as the Russian. Or the other way around, because from what I know the Russian alphabet developed in the Ist Bulgarian Empire or something. So I pretty much know all the letters w/o ы and э. Но я знаю что некоторье слова.
-
@everyone else: notice we're treating her like a shiny new toy? XD
That's because, as noted elsewhere, she's Exotic.
-
Scummy, i'm impressed!!! :cheernutz:
Chuck, thanks, i'll try to live up to this label))
-
^ Fixed your pics over on page 2. Big City !
-

That's pretty cool. I never even learned my mother language, just the conquerors' language (English).
-
With the start of the new school year I'll be learning like Engligh, Japanese and Spanish.
-
Believe it or not, German gives me a hard time. XD
-
I beleive you,Chrissy.German DOES give me a hard time, especially the Nominativ, Akkusativ, Dativ, and Genitiv.
I am fluent in Arabic language as it is my mother language, but I also know English very good, and a little bit of French and German.
Who here on the forums knows Arabic, besides Red,of course?
-
Welcome to Bully-Board, as I read in your first post, we do have a friendly atmosphere and the admins and moderators are probably the best on any site. (They rarely ban anyone, with Junkie Master being the only one, I think) and the admins also don't argue, or misuse their powers or lock topics for the sake of it... and we have a better attitude to people from other countries too.
I look forward to hearing your custom Bully 2 plots.
Also we do have sections for people who have been an asset to the forums, such as Governmentman123's section (You may of seen his videos, expert Bully modder)
Modding section, moderated by Madman (Brilliant Bully modder) and Steman. (Also another brilliant Bully modder)
So try not to get confused thinking they are full-time moderators when they only moderate a certain section. I did when I was new. :P
-
D'aaawwwww.

Haha, well, if we were to go by roots, I never learned my other native language either (Hebrew). That's another language I wouldn't mind learning.
-
Hello and welcome! Good to know Bully has a few Russian fans.
I hope you enjoy your stay here on the site, and everyone is friendly here. If you need any help, just ask!
(:
-
Bully2SA and Outasight, hi there!!! Yep, the forum is awesome and it's really alive even though the game is pretty old. Even forums devoted to music bands are not so full of active people, so Im glad BB is not stuck in old grooves :cheernutz:
-
IDK, I like to think of this as special. I'm still signed up on other gaming sites, but doesn't seem they're as active as this. I rarely go to them anymore.
-
I signed up on an RDR Forum and it was a good site, but I had kept coming back to BB. So I haven't been on that site for ages, lol.
-
Better late then never....lol
Hello Yana, welcome to the best little corner on the web!
Feel free to drop by the modding section for bully and try out some mods that have been created so far and if you like I can even give you a preview of some more mods to come since I have been hard at work for the past couple months with my partner and good friend RedBlaster and have just recently started teaching him LUA programming which is what the new modding method will be using since bully has some 500+ LUA scripts that have been so far almost entirely decompiled back to source form thanks to another modder who teamed up with me and since then I have been working to get things set so the community can have a far easier and more efficient way to mod bully and do far far more then has been done so far.
On another note...while I may not understand russian.....I am however fluent in english (my mother tongue), german and am working to learn finnish and some arabic (thanks to Red) and can read and write some japanese...mainly kanji. Wouldn't mind learning russian someday since I do like to learn new things..... 8)
-
I'm decent at French, not fluent though. I practised a lot but got bored of it.
I tried Japanese for 1 year and I really regretted it, I completely hated it.
So now I'm doing Italian, lol.
-
I practised a lot but got bored of it.
Remember, "practise makes perfekt".
-
|XF|-MadmaN[AR], heeeey and thanks for welcoming me in))) Oh I'd love to try some mods but it seems my computer totally hates me and it's been soooo difficult to install Bully this time when I wanted to play it again that now I'm extremely afraid to do anything to it not to spoil it at all :(
Alex, why do you hate Japanese? Was it difficult/boring/ugly or what?
-
I've been learning it for 7 years and I want to continue. For me it's a beautiful language, not too hard if you're having fun with it(just the reason why it was easy for me) and really interesting.
-
Alex, why do you hate Japanese? Was it difficult/boring/ugly or what?
It was boring, and difficult imo.
I enjoy French and Italian a lot more.
-
Je parle francais!
Except I can't do the little thing under the c.
-
The ç thing?
-
I know how to swear in Japanese.
-
How about in Klingon ?
-
MadmaN has the Klingon language memorized.
-
Thank you Scum & Nais!!!
ççççççççççççççççççççççççççççççç

Also welcome and other such introductory shit. :)
-
hahahah thanks so much))) Yeah, I'm here to stay!
-
You have been here for a while but we haven't spoken.
There is only one question I have to ask.
What do you think of Britney Spears?
-
I've got several songs by her in my playlist and a bunch of friends who are absolutely in love with her. Did I pass? :)
-
How many is several? Which songs do you have?
-
Mostly old stuff which reminds me of my cloudless childhood:
Baby one more time
Boys
Crazy
I love rock-n-roll
Me against the music
Oops I did it again
Slave
Stronger
Toxic
I guess that's it.
