Hi guys, starting a poll, hope that is ok. We are hoping Bully 2 is in the works, so will the main bad guy of the first game, Gary, return in Bully 2? I would love to see him back, but this time he's a good guy for real. However he starts to like Jimmy a lot, and turns gay perhaps. This causes Jimmy to fight Gary yet again, but this time to stop him going after him, gay etc lol. Maybe Gary could have a brother or a twin, so he brings along his twin, so you don't know which is which. He'll use that to try and get revenge on Jimmy. Random idea.

I think, and this is my opinion....That if a Bully 2 ever appears, it will be at a new venue, with all new characters.
That's what I would prefer, at any rate. We've done the Bullworth thing, and there is really nothing left to explore. Mainly, the gliches keep me playing.....But the excitement is seeing new places, unlocking new areas, is what I would like to see.
When MH 2 came out, lots were crying because there was no James Earl Cash...Oh, boo hoo...But MH 2 was a fine stand alone game, IMO, with a plot equal to MH 1. I think it would be the same with Bully 2.....I would like a more expanded area, but other than that, if the characters are different and it's a new area, I'm good with it.

About Gary, I would like to see some sort appearance. Even if it is a minor one, it would just seem appropriate for Bully. I'm not sure if it would be best to see him as a regular student again due to his expulsion, but just a visit would make me happy.

I don't know about that. I can't really see Gary playing any major role in Bully 2.

If the game takes place in a completely different setting, I doubt there is going to be Gary.

I think if they were to make Gary gay, it would be too controversial, especially Jimmy fighting him because of it.

I'll tell you what I think. I liked your idea of a twin brother of Gary, man, but I imagined him as calm and funny, so that his brother always hits him when he puts a joke. Gary, gay, that, maybe not. Considering his manipulation skills, he can be able to take over a clique of many people, that is something exploitable.

I think Gary will be in Bully 2. He has to be in Bully 2. Its the deceptive ways of Gary that make him a special character. In Bully 2 Jimmy will go through a load of dirty work just to be decieved by Gary again.

Jimmy is the main character the game revolves around. Jimmy is the protagonist. I don't see why it would change.

Protagonist - the leading character or one of the major characters in a drama, movie, novel, or other fictional text.
It really depends on where they're going with Bully 2. A whole new setting, or the same one. The same one, it would be logical to assume that Jimmy would indeed, be the protagonist, again.

Maybe. It depends on how well it's done. People wouldn't want to do the same thing over again, and I think Rockstar knows that.

There are plenty of games that use the protagonist multiple times, I wouldn't be surprised to see Jimmy appear again.

I wouldn't either. As long as it was something new. Or new places to go. But then again, there's always the possibility of people "liking the way it was." That's how it is with me and Sims!

Just my opinion....But if there is to be a Bully 2, I feel it will be with a whole new crew and a whole different setting.
Baised on what happened with Manhunt, I don't feel Rockstar would re-visit Bullworth Academy.

^ Chuck is right, look at Rockstar's history, you'll notice they always do this. Maybe with a few characters coming back in of course. This also excludes Max Payne, the same character for two games and to be a third. But his appearance has changed each time.

Actually, No....Jimmy is too much of a dunderhead to go to a college, anyway.
As stated, I would like a whole new venue, and a new 'Hero'.....RockStar does occasionly use characters over, such as in the RE series....But always with mostly new areas to explore.

What would be cool, Is if you had access to all the same places in the original game, BUT there was more places. I am really hoping there is an online Mode. Although if it does, what characters will be used? Its not like everyone will be Jimmy =(

It'd be nice if they added onto the world, something like San Andreas. it doesn't have to be the big but something big enough to at least add another school.

They really should make the map bigger. That was one of the only issues with the current Bully. The map just doesn't seem big enough.

Maybe Bully will go like GTA proberly bullworth will get a mention in all , Characters might get refences (like GTA VC GTA VCS etc) and possibly Bully 2 might be set in 1992/1992/2001 etc like GTA so Gary might have a role but a very small role if anything like in GTA *SPOILER FOR GTA VC* Gary might be the (next characters) best friend and NOT turn on him and at the end he becomes paranoid like in GTA VC Lance Vance turns on tommy and in GTA VCS Lance is the bro of Vic Vance so Gary might go like that

That'd Be Awesome. I Would like a Similar story-board, From a different Point of view. Like Lets say you play as Gary this time. And you have to Try to Take over the school, and Get Jimmy Expelled. Or, Play as a completely different character. Like a Jock, Or a preppy. Wouldn't it be awesome if you could Pick your character? Like pick to become A nerd, Or A jock. Although, That'd Be a lot of coding. It would take years to make probably. But, It'd Be worth The wait. Like Red Dead Redemption's Map. It took Three whole years to make. What else would be awesome, Is if You played as John Marston, and you came in a time machine and you had to Develop a comfort to the new world.

^The only problem with that is that there would be so many different paths you could take while playing. I think they should stick with the same idea that everyone plays as the same person.
I think it would be cool (like you just said) if they had you play as someone from a different clique. You could be a new student in that clique. And Jimmy would still be a student there also, and Petey would be seen more.

That would be very cool. But instead of being able to chose your character in Single mode, What if you got to pick your character in Multiplayer?! that'd be the tits.

It would be cool if there was an actual link between the GTA characters and Bully characters. Like maybe who you played as in GTAs are the parents of the characters in Bully. Tommy Vercetti being a father. Now that's a good twist to have there.

Well the new plot is kind of a given and the create your own character could work(after all, saints row did it) but the join any clique thing could be an issue. Unless it would be like the different cliques have different perks and you could join them by doing a mission for them. It probably wouldn't have much impact on the main storyline at all though.

I think there will be, sooner or later. I just don't think that it will be a direct sequel or prequel to the first game after all this time. It will either be a new story with a new cast of characters with maybe a mention of Jimmy/Gary or it will be a complete reimagining of the school or maybe of the entire concept. I doubt that Rockstar would have much interest in anything else. Compare the GTA3 era games to the GTA4 era games. I guessing that Bully 2 will be something like that.

Due to some close ties that I do have with rockstar....I can always let everyone know if bully 2 will be done and when work starts on it...etc. Maybe even get a few people on the testing team if it does get the green light and if I get a invitation to test for them again. The future ain't written so who really knows?
Take duke nukem forever....it took quite a lot of years before it was completed and it ended up getting the green light...then cancelled....then brought back again...then cancelled again....then redone from scratch and brought back ...and so on.
Besides....we can always just make our own bully 2 either from bully itself since I have figured enough out that we can actually start that now.....or simply use the gta san andreas game and pretty much mod that as a total conversion to bully entirely....doable.....not impossible.
