As we approach the 300 user mark i was wondering how everyone found their way over here?
It would just be interesting for me to know and maybe help me in getting other users to join the messageboard.

I was doing searches on google for some material on the Bully game and possibly Bully 2. I found this site's link there. I signed up pretty quick knowing there was a site on Bully. I personally think that B-B is cool....seriously. I nearly fell out of my chair when I got an e-mail telling me the site was closing down. Its a mystery to the reasons in why anyone left. I was happy getting the message later informing me the site will stay.

I remember getting the news and made it a point to get some emails from other members. I remember when I was talking with Chuck and Merc through email while the site was transitioning. I think the reason behind others leaving is simply "life". Some people just got tired of Bully and moved on (sacreligious I know) while others just had changes in their lives that diverted their attention to more important matters.

I'm still worried about Bully 2. If they cancel it I'm gonna feel the same way as when they canceled the Spyro movie, like a chunk of my childhood got ripped out. But on the lighter card, it would still bring more people here.

You got to Rockstargames.com got to the bottom of the page, where you'll see games, site, more. Under more you'll see mouthoff click that. Say what you need to get off your chest, I actually got a cheesy response back today.

I've also been trying to contact Insomniac to see why they sold the Spyro name since I was like 12 and it's probably going to be something like "[email protected]" or something.

What ever happened with Spyro anyways? When I was younger I used to have all the Spyro games, as well as Crash. Those were some of the best games in my opinion.

Insomniac and Naughty Dog both sold out to a bigger company. Spyro sold to Sierra and Activison, thus the Legend of Spyro series. I don't know who Naughty Dog sold out to though.

Once Spyro was sold to Activision I think it lost part of its awesomeness. The new Spyro games just aren't the same. Although I found it funny having David Spade do the voice of Sparx.

Yeah, he did. So you mean you only played the games by Insomniac? Those were great, but I noticed a big change between the first and second one. I personally think the first one was the best.

Spyro the Drago? Yea that was the best and it was the very first video game I have ever played. I don't like what Activision did with Spyro. They made him look rediculus.

I just think they ruined the way it was played. I liked the old system with different "worlds" and things. I just didn't like the difficulty and story lines of the newer games. Then there was that span of time where they all went to GBA, that was a low point....

I don't like the knew characters. I wasn't a fan of Cynder. Spyro is around what age, 13? And people are wanting them to have a kid or some crap and it just disgusts me.

I didn't have an issue with new characters, I just didn't like how they tried to reinvent the damn game every time a new one came out. Its hard to describe, but there were just too many changes to gameplay that were very "in your face".

Sparx is way different. The background in the new Spyros just isn't the same happiness and joy that little kids want out of a purple dragon.

And with Crash, they got rid of Tiny.

Crash actually held its integrity for longer IMO. I think they lost their touch once Nitro Kart came out. That game was a turning stone for me.

The new company did good for the next few. There wasn't a huge difference except for Tiny.

Well, I think they did well from the first one all the way up to Nitro Kart, and then everything changed. There was a drastic change in graphics, voice actors, game play, plot, etc. They unfortunately went the same way as Spyro. I still have a massive stuffed Spyro, like the kind of thing you would get at the carnival.

Neat caves are in the Kentucky Mammoth Caves system. Fricking Awesome, if you ever go there. Was there a few years back. It's always 58 degrees in the caves, year round.

Yupp. And a lot of people say that Alaska is probably the coldest state, I now know that is a bunch of malarkey. I've been there in the middle of winter several times and the worst it was was like -25 with little wind.

Really? Well -25 is still pretty damn cold! But yeah where I live, it gets to single digits which, I guess compared to North Dakota isn't that bad. And in summer, gets to 90s. That's one thing I like about where I live, 4 different seasons. I'd be annoyed if it was warm or cold all the time.

Weather is odd here too. I live in Sterling, Massachusetts. It's a suburb just outside of Worcester, the state's second largest city. I think the record low here is about -20 (we haven't come anywhere close in many years) and the record high is 102. 102 can be nasty to some people visiting here because we have lots of humidity. The weather also has a habit of changing quickly. This whole month has been freezing cold, we even had a dusting of snow last week, but we haven't had a frost yet! This whole week has now been around 70 degrees.

Damn. I don't know how I would deal with 102 with humidity. I'd be inside all day with 2 dehumidifiers and 3 air conditioners in 1 room.

Same. We have records in the negatives, but we hardly ever reach that low. I live near a lake so we tend to get heavy lake effect snow until mid January to early February when the lake freezes over. We get more snow where I'm at than wicked cold temps.

That record was set back in 1911 I think. However we had one day this summer where we hit 100 even. We had one hell of a hot summer. It all started back in March. Around the middle of the month all the snow was gone and we were getting into the 70s. Then we had our first 90 degree day on April 7th. The haet continued when we hit 94 on May 27th and June and July were chalk-full of days that were 95+. That's what I like about where I live, the heat and humidity take the express right up the coast from the tropics.

It gets dirty. Dirt from the roads mostly. It's not warm enough to melt, but not cold enough to continue getting complete snow.

I hate snow with sand and shit in it. Our snow is usually gone by mid-late March. One year we had hardly any snow. We call that the year we had almost no winter. We didn't see a single flake until February of that year and then it was gone in March.

Yeah I hate irregular winters! Once, we had a giant snowstorm in early October. Heavy snow on leaves that are still on the trees = huge disaster.

We had to drive about an hour away to get one. (There were none left anywhere close to where we live) Waited in a department store for 12 hours for the next truck shipment to get there.

Nope. We got there maybe 10am. So we were outta there by 10pm. There were restaurants around, so my family ate in groups to maintain our spot in line.

We had a huge ice storm in December '08.
Here's the timeline:
Thursday night, Dec. 11th: Storm starts, we lose cable at about 8:00 PM and lose power at about 1:00 Am on Friday.
Friday, Dec. 12th: Wake up to find power is out. Basement floods, we start bailing water all day. In the afternoon my dad and I went out to find a generator but all stores are fresh out. We drive all the way to Boston and back and don't find one. That night we drive all the way to Providence and back, still can't get one.
Saturday, Dec. 13th: Coldest day of event. Temps at night went down to 10 degrees and we had no power, food spoiled in the fridge and there was nowhere to get more food except from far out of the area.
Sunday, Dec. 14: We get a generator from my aunt and Uncle who found one in CT. We plug it into the fridge, pumps in basement and a lamp. Temp. in house is about 32 degrees.
Monday, Dec. 15: Unusually warm day. It was about 50 outside, I spent more time outside where it was actually warmer!
Tuesday, Dec. 16: Cold comes back and it snows. We had Mc Donalds pancakes for breakfast.
Wednesday, Dec. 17: It snows some more and we are starting to get really pissed off.
Thursday, Dec. 18th: Cold outside, sat on my ass all day, boring as hell.
Friday, Dec. 19th: Big-Ass snowstorm, power finally comes back on in the evening.
And there you have my quick little diary of my trip through hell and back. :)

Where do you all live? Last time I had a snow storm that knocked the power out was back in 1996. Last few years has been kind of bad, but still haven't lost any power due to it.

There is zero snow in Indonesia, but when I was 6 I am a forced labor by the Japanese and it's so fucking cold, but thanks for my greater strength I enrolled into conscription, otherwise I'll fucking dead and never post anything in this board.

I hate it how TV portrays food fights to be a regular occurrence at school. I have yet to actually see one in real life.

Funny thing, when I was little, I used to put ketchup on EVERYTHING. Remember that thing that happened in high school (what I just told you guys about) I'm starting to wonder if that's why I don't like ketchup anymore. Like some psychological deep-rooted trauma. XD

Kids will play Kid games. One of mine was to 'bloody' a white T-shirt with ketchup and wait till right after dark. I'd hide in the huge bushes beside our house and watch for cars coming down the street. I should mention, I also had a round wooden stake about 2 feet long covered in blood (ketchup) for a prop. When the car got close to my place, I would stagger out onto the front lawn and collapse near the curb. Great bit of theater.
My plan was, if anybody stopped (to help ?), I was going to jump up and run away laughing.
Well, no one ever stopped.....Except a Cop Car one time. I told them I was conducting a 'Scientific Experiment'.

One time when my family and I went on vacation, there was this couple, and the guy was fooling around in a wheel chair (wasn't actually handicapped). So he accidentally tipped himself over on the sidewalk, and him and the other girl started laughing, and my dad rushed over to see if he needed help. LOL, they both just looked at him all like 'can't you see we're kidding'!

I'm in Pre-Calculus now. Next year I think it's technically Calculus 1 (college maybe?) I'm not sure what it's called in college, my HS calls it "AP Calculus."

As I am not aware of what the posts above me mean and thus cannot respond to them without feeling foolish, here's my story of how I discovered Bully-Board.com:
Dave K and I were talking about really nerdy things (I was probably in the middle of declaring my love of Harry Potter...) and he somehow let it slip that he was an active member of a forum. So, being the nerd I am, I asked him what forum it was and and what the forum was for, etc. because the whole idea of Dave being active on a forum was rather unexpected, to say the least.
That little meanie didn't tell me anything.
Eventually, he revealed that the forum was for a game called "Bully". I, at the time, had never heard of the game. However, I went home, utilized the magics of google, and after a good two minutes of searching, I found this forum. Dave eventually found out that I had discovered his secret forum, I made an account here, he got me the game, and now I am in the process of saving Algie for the first time. That is my story.

Incredibly good health insurance. Work hard enough you can get your own parking spot right next to the front of the building. That's great to have especially in winter or when it's raining. Paid vacation is a big plus in a lot of people's eye's.
All in all it's a great company to work for. About every two months they have a company thank you for all the hard work. They bring in a catering service for when you go on lunch. During the summer they buy tickets to Kings Island for us as well.

I can't remember exactly, but Gov is one of the reasons I even played Bully on PC in the first place (I've finished it on PS2 years ago, but was not aware of bully PC modding until his videos came along) so if it weren't for me stumbling onto his vids, I wouldn't of gotten Bully on PC and I wouldn't of signed up to B-B.

Looking for Bully F-F or Bully quotes I'm not sure but I stumbled across the site and looked around a little then signed up, fun place really.

I bought the game for 360 because I had done the entire PS2 version and noticed that R* had added some new fun stuff. I thought "Hey! Awesome!!!". After that I ehum... got... Bully in a non-profit way.
But then I just bought it so that I wouldn't have to bother downloading it every damn time I messed up the files.
I'm a fan of GovernmentMan123 videos, I'm here because of him.

Yes, I liked the videos of him once (2010/2011), but now I see that he is a very ignorant man.
Yeah... He doesn't seem to be active on Bully-Board anymore though. Guess that he got tired of the beggers.

^ It could be the case, but wether he is ignorant or wether you like him or not.. He is an amazing modder and he revolutionised Bully PC Version with his amazing modifications.
And he did all that by himself, you have to respect him.

Honestly I don't see how anyone could.
Instead of helping the community get one step forward, he decided to use his knowledge to give him more fame. And he's completely unwilling to help out anyone else but himself.
And how he is hostile towards anyone who gets inspired by him. In my opinion, completely pathetic and hypocritical.

Yes, I had total respect for him, but he thinks the work of others sucks and people are fools, but this is not true, SWEGTA has enough talent to make the videos, he's a guy who can make I laugh with his videos.
You have no idea how much that means to me.
Having someone say that I can make them laugh is enough motivation for me to continue with what I do for years.

^Winning subscribers is not really anything that I'm planning to do. Basicly what I plan to do is to expand my channel in all kinds of ways. For example, more GTA Deathmatch and Jimmy Goes To School episodes while I can switch between that, Bully machinimas and Lua Tutorials.

I started playing bully becuse Pewdiepie started to play it. But i always wanted to buy Bully Schoolarship edition. I have seen it in stores. But i did never buy it :( And when pewdiepie started to play it, i bought it.
And then i watched other Bully videos on youtube and i shaw people mod in this game.
So i searched "Bully mods" and this site came up. :)
