Anyways, have you tried other forms of medium? Some of those drawings would look really good if done with paint or even as graphic art on the computer.

Although when I got back in to drawing a few months ago, I looked at pictures, and tried to copy them. I didn't trace them, just tried to see if I could do a drawing like the one I was looking at. These days I don't copy as much, but I still look at pictures as guides, if I'm not familiar wth the character.

It's a girl, however her name is unknown at the moment (I don't want to say her name it's part of a story I may do to reveal the name), but her star sign is Gemini, just like mine is. No scanned images yet, I want to do some more drawings of her, like different angles, which I'm dreading.

Try purchasing (or if you don't want to spend the money, just google these) an anatomy book with lots of sketches of the body. Attempt the bones first. When you get a general idea of the bones, it helps you get a general idea of the body. Attach the bones to other bones and it really helps you with proportions. I use rough outlines for body figures. I can show you some random ones, if you're interested.

Better definition of hands / fingers, feet / toes....but need to minimise (make smaller). Shorten thumbs. Chrissy has a drawing around here somewhere of Alexa that has well proportioned feet.

The third has a lot better proportions in the upper arm & chest area. That's the one that looks the best. The big eyes in Drawing #2 really 'Make' her character, I think. Gives her that 'Look'....

Face hair, I like to keep trimmed at about an inch or two. With what I do, I can't look too wild. Be my choice, I'd grow it all out and live on some mountain somewhere and be a crazy mountain man.

Since it's a Trike, I'd like to have some black Biker leather. That looks cool.

I think it would be fun to see what you could do the best. Pencil, Pen, Digital, I don't care.

Just make sure I look like I'm having a blast.

But, I have been to the Appies, the Rockies, the Ozarks, and a bunch of other places that's a whole lot higher then Indiana would ever dream of being. I've stood on top of a 12,000 foot mountain in the snow in June, on the edge of a 2000 foot dropoff at a place called the Tooth Of Time, and have been on the high platau of the Beartooth Pass.

I believe I would have made a fine Mountain Man in another time, another place. Pity.

I played the demo and died a little inside because they are still using those garbage physics from Sonic 4 and wonder why people still complain about their games even when they claim they are like the old ones... maybe cus they are not?

Frankly, I agree that Sega has an unpleasable fanbase, but they don't exactly try to prove it...

I hope you don't mind if I convert one of your drawings to a vector art style using photoshop since I also am a sonic fan myself and used to have nearly every comic book along with quite a lot of sonic themed art I did over the years...tho none of it survived my fire last year.....tho I will admit that it has been a long time since I have tried freehand drawing with pencil and paper.....due to photoshop and wacom tablets...xD....I am a bit spoiled anyways....

Anyways...keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing more.

I wanted to go back to Sheep Saver, however It's been so long since I started work on it, and I don't really want to do any more of it. I have come up with a new strip, it is called Arragh! The thing is, I was watching a video on YouTube, one of NecroVMX's. He was playing a game, and the character he was controlling kept dying. The character had a dramatic Arraaghh voice when he died. That's pretty much how this idea came about. I've used coloured gel pens this time, and not pencil to draw the character.

Anyway, recently I had an idea for a new character, it then envolved, with a few changes to the character, then an additional character was added, I bring you Furly And Flyly. Furly is a girl, she has Fur, well on parts on her body etc. Flyly is the male character, the tiny one with wings. At this present time I have a tiny idea on what I could do with this project, a story could be made, but I guess this is like a side project, and something I would like to get in to over time. This is the first page, the introduction to the characters, as they embark on an adventure to The Sky Ruins.

Anyway, it's time to revive the thread with a new drawing. Took me a couple of evenings to finish, that's when I usually get down to drawing when I feel motivated. Alright, this is Sonic drawing to mark his 22nd birthday, which is on 23rd June. Now, I'm kinda impatient, If I was more patient I would of waited until his birthday to post this, but like Sonic I'm pretty impatient about many things. So now's the time to post it up. Just gonna explain some things, there's a ring in the cake, and there are 22 candles on the cake, don't ask how they are stuck on lol. Sonic himself was quite tricky, well actually the face went rather well, but the body was much harder to sort out. It's not perfect, I gave it my best shot, and a decent pose for Sonic when checking out his birthday cake. Hope you like this drawing, and when the day comes this June, Happy Birthday Sonic!

I grew up with sonic and always found out how fast his that blue hedgehog? can't be faster then the speed of sound that's for sure. :D
