Title: MySQL Server Database Error
Post by: BloodChuckZ on July 24, 2011, 08:04:11 AM: For most of the past 24 hours, I have been locked out of the site here....I only get this message on the screen.....

Database Error: MySQL server has gone away
File: /home/bullyb/public_html/Sources/Security.php
Line: 279

I also tried the RockStarBoard, and couldn't access that either.....Got this message on the screen......

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an Error Document to handle the request.

I was able to get on for a brief time yesterday, about an hour, then Pfffft. Anybody else having these problems ? I'm back on again, but for how long I can't say. I'm having no problems with any other sites, and just ran full checks with spyware & protection programs & defragmenter last night. Any Ideas ?

Post by: Hayley on July 24, 2011, 10:17:34 AM: You're not alone; I get the second message on B-B on the odd occasion. Refreshing the page doesn’t work, but closing the website and re-opening it seems to fix the issue for me... until it happens again and I have to close the site again.

I've never been locked out for an entire day. Have you contacted AJ about what happened?

Try emptying your Cache. IDK why but that's what the "experts" say.

You should always clear your internet history. Use whatever privacy options your browser offers to prevent cookies. Little shit like that builds up to a point where it slows you down.

Every time you clear your internet history as well cookies go with it.

When my 2 of the last 3 computers crashed, it was during some of my trips out of state. (The one last October wasn't, but it had a design problem in it that was fixed, as it was only 4 months old).....But those other 2, the problems started after I had been on wireless WiFi at the places where I had stayed. Somebody pointed this out to me tonight....So, I went in a eradicated them as connections out of the 'communications manager'. And, on the first attempt to load the BullyBoard Index page, there is was. This was after all evening of trying to get the page to come up without succuess.

So, hoping that is the solution. If it is, I'll never use Wifi ever again !

Got in tonight on first try, though....So, maybe, a part of the problem. I'll have to keep looking.

Post by: BloodChuckZ on August 16, 2011, 02:03:18 AM: Well, the SQL error hasn't popped up for quite a few days now. Instead, the board just slows down and doesn't respond. However, I can 'recover webpage' and still continue. Once in a rare while it freezes, so I just get out and come back later.

Don't know what's happened, but it's a sight better than not being able to bring up BB at all, which is what was happening before.
