Hello there! I am c00ld0c26 , I run a youtube channel , and I am a rookie modder to , this is my first mode.

Descreption
Tired from playing in free roam and everyone is so easy? think the missions are easier then any other game? then this is the mode for you , this mode makes characters in free roam and on missions including boss fights , stronger , faster , more blocking , and more hp , in the normal bully u can take down 6 7 preps in the same time , in this mode u can bearly can take 1 down no matter if u got all the hobo moves , same works with all the other factions , bosses are strong as hell to including Russel. Missions have a new level of difficulity and its harder , funner . and more challenging. for the pepole who say to themself : "Hey I dont think its possible to pass the game like this" well that is not true the missions down there are missions that I think that are hard as hell in this mode , but I passed them I wont list all the missions only the ones I think are classfied as : Hard as hell , if I passed them then u can pass them to , for the newbies : dont download this mode unless u have already played hardcore games and u look for a real challenge.not all missions has been tested yet but for now I am at chapter 5 and I will keep updating my "mission that are hard as hell in this mode" list. and I would like to say : This was very fun making this mode and testing it , Like dan houser said but in my version : I really love bully hardcore mode and myself for doing this. anyway enjoy!

Features :
A whole new difficulity to missions from easy fights like "fighting Johnny vincent" to hardcore fights like "fighting the ultra fast Johnny vincent" believe me that mission is hard in this mode.
Made the Pirate hat secret harder to get! : the pirate is strong as hell!
Jimmy's hp set from 200 to 150
Russel : (normal style) is a freaking killing machine with 5000 hp , attacks at every chance he has without wasting time , and almost perfect blocking.
Russel : (Boss style) Russel has 1200 hp in this boss fight a lot harder to take him down.
Nerds : Nerds can now block , nerds have more hp then Jimmy (150 - 200)
Bullies : bullies now block a lot better and have 200 - 300 hp
Preps : Preps are the masters of blocking , dodging and fast punching , with 300 - 400 hp , makes them strong as hell!
Greasers : The good old greasers , with there street fight style , there blocking is less then the preps but they got up to 400 - 500 hp.
Jocks : like gary said : "These are the Jocks , DEFENETLY avoid them!"
they rule the school stronger then ever! , with awesome blocking , they attack all the time leaving Jimmy only about 1 and a half second to attack and have about 500 - 700 hp.
Townies : The townies have about 500 - 600 hp , they block a bit less then the preps and they attack quite a lot.
Autority : From V2.0 Ive started to make the autority stronger faster and more at V3.0 Autority will be faster will have a lot of stima and will spawn with weapons (Prefects with slingshots , cops with firecrackers)

Bosses and second in commands :
Earnest : Earnest has about 200 hp (more then Jimmy) and he blocks more often then the other nerds.
Melvin : Same as the other nerds.
Derby : Derby has the same stats as Bif has outside of the ring.
Bif : Bif is modfied outside of the ring and inside of it . Outside of the ring he is defenetly on first place with Derby for the strongest prep , hes fast , has a lot of hp , and can beat the crap out of Jimmy. Inside the ring he is the master with tons of hp and super fast attacks and awesome blocks he can take u about 10 - 15 rounds at the first time , there is a method to beat him down in 6 7 rounds , I will let u guys find it by yourself.
Johnny : Johnny's attacks are fast as hell one wrong mastaike and you find yourself under his leg getting spitted and knocked out.
Peanut : Same as the other greasers.
Norton : Norton blocks a lot has more health then all the other greasers and a bit faster , in hes boss fight he will be faster , stronger , and have more hp. (Norton is like this only in V1.1)
Ted : Ted has about 1000 - 1200 hp which makes him extreamly strong , he attacks quite fast leaving Jimmy almost a second to strike and can pawn your head off. In V1.1 Ted trows the footballs faster then normal and also he fights and runs faster.
Damon : Damon has about 1500 - 1600 hp and super fast attacks , he attacks faster and quicker then ted. he blocks almost perfectly , believe me you dont wanna mess with him.
Edgar : Edgar has 1400 hp , attacks almost every second and block tons of times. In hes boss fight he is defenetly a born melee weapon warior with hes skills in this mode! he can smash ur head off with that pipe in a servel seconds.

1. Defend bucky
2. The eggs
3. The boxing challenge
4. Beach Rumble (Without ricky its impossible to pass)
5. DIshornoble fight (Nearly impossible!)
6. Weed killer (Nearly impossible!)
7. Bait (U may fail once or two times)
8. The Tenements
9. The Rumble
10. Fighting Johnny vincent (Nearly impossible took me 10 tries to pass this one)
11. Defender of the castle (Easest of all on this list)
12. Jock boss fight ( this is just super ultra hardcore , Nearly impossible! , this one took me 19 tries!)
13. Greasers Challenge
14. Townies challenge
15. Bustin in II (Dont mess with the townies kids)
16. Showdown at the plant ( This mission is only hard as hell in V2.0 which you can download at the end of the post)
17.Complete Mayhem (Damn took me 29 tries to pass this one! , This is just 1 step away from Impossible u better start precticing hardest part was againts Derby.)
18. Final showdown (Only in V3.0 Final showdown is the hardest mission in bully hardcore mode and I am damn proud at my self that I made gary so epic!. Here is a sneak peek at gary's stats :
Think of a crazy teen named gary fights you and he is faster then Johnny vincent a lot more faster , he is also the best blocker in the mod hes damage is the highest of all in the mod and he attacks with almost no end and he regains a ton of hp! while he has 300 hp. I will uplode a video of it soon!)

Q : Does it work in free roam?
A : Yes it does work in free roam
Q : Does it work in missions?
A : Well... it works in most of them, I cant promise it will work in all the missions due to lua scripting.

3. replace the downloaded fille with the original pedstats.dat

Derby stats in pedstats.dat is P_boxing as well as Bif. P_boxing_bif is boxer bif stats, not the normal bif one.

Try making it more difficult to escape the grips of adults, prefects, cops, orderlies and such.
It's way to boring being able to escape by pressing a button about 5 times.

Hmmm sounds intresting can you pm me how to actully do it? Or a link to stemans or madmans tutorial about it? cuz I didnt learn how to do that yet.

You should make the player have to press certain buttons (like the mascot dance, however faster and more difficult)

I'll say it here, no biggie. Basically, to actually reduce the struggle time or strengthen it, that requires Act editing, I imagine.
But as a workaround, you could increase the animation speed...it reduces the time you have to break a grapple.

That's not possible yet. In theory that can be a way to reduce grapple time, but until the .cat archives are decompressed, we won't be making progress any time soon.

Red I tested the animation speed on Edgar's boss fight , I made him 300 on animation speed he was fast as hell but for some reason the pressing the same button was the same , I made the cops on 140 and it was still the same...

My way to beat everithing in the ring is this :
1. First cover
2. Go back
3. Punch 5 times
and repeat this :P

I dont think that Hp will effect the difficulity so much. Nerds : 150 - 200 Preps : 300 Greasers : 400 - 500 Jocks : 600 - 700 Townies : 500 - 600 Bullies : 200 - 300
Dont you think that is enough? +Jimmy has 150 hp not 200.

It doesn't really make the game hard unless you using someone else fight style other then Gary's or Jimmy default.
I can beat it with either Jimmy, or Gary fight style
since they both have knock down attacks :3

Change the attack or block frequency.

Attack and block frequency are crazy HIGH like about 100 - 1500 MAX.
They block like hell and also attack like hell.

Thats why Jimmy or Gary style is meant to be for the main game since they both can grab manually.
I think Gary was suppose to be playable at some point but was changed.

That's not possible. If you mean the block breaker attacks then a lot of fighting styles have that effect.

The grab is just a trick to do.
I mostly play Fighting Force and stuff when my enemy block I grab them lol.

When my enemy blocks I beat the crap out of them by pressing 1 time for a half second on the attack button and then it breaks there block and I can fuck them up.

There are a lot of "effects" in each attack of a fighting style.
Launchers: the one that makes the enemy fly away, fall or go back a few steps depending on his height in pedstats. Like jimmy uppercut.
Stunners: a heavy low attack that makes the enemy to not be able to attack for like 2 seconds. Like the bullies kick or gary knee.
Unblockables: the attacks that can't be blocked. Jimmy overhead punch, p_striker_b and p_grappler_a charged punch, etc.
Then there are a few attacks that makes the enemy to fall to the ground, different from the launchers like g_grappler_a axe kick (which makes the enemy to roll on the ground like jimmy overhead punch) and do_striker_a double axe handle combo (which makes the enemy to fall first with his head and then the rest of the body).
All the launchers and stunners can break the enemy block.

Actully Not all Lunchers can break blocks : Jimmy's uppercut is block able.

Cant block Johnny Axe kick so when he breaks your block hurry up and jump out the way if that doesnt work just make him get the 2 hits in and jump so you wont have delay time

There is one deadly thing about Johnny :
NEVER EVER! stay close to him after he knocks you down with hes hold and punch attack cuz usually after that he does the leg spitting attack which takes down A LOT of HP.

If he knocks you down just block when he's about to kick.
Thats when you get back up lol.

It wont help since the knock down attack takes about 1/10 of ur hp and after the the leg spitting attack is unblock able and takes about 3/4 of ur hp.

The kick will only stop your blocking
You can jump away when he's bout to kick you.
Main thing is to worry about his HAYMAKER GRABBLE
That will cut thru anything.

A better definition of my tecnique :D
1.Cover all the time
2.Go back
3.Go foward
4.Punch im 5 times (all the punches of this fight style)
5.Repeat the steps 2-4
6.KO Bif :D
And for the mission do this :
The fight whit the 2 preps use your slingshot (Is more easy xD)
Charge im to the max and shot them in is heads ;)
Derby Fight do the same thing Lol

I beat derby preps presing "E"(Grab) while runnig and "Alt"(Hit in is nuts xD)

I propebly gonna cancel the V3.0 Sneak Peak video..... Got tons of vacation work from school. No time to work on it. But I do have some time to work on V3.0 Dont worry it will be done by 24 December. I have decided Ima make 2 V3.0 Versions one without the Jimmy's ability to grapple and one with the abilitty to grapple. afcourse that means that the one without the ability to grapple (Dont worry it wont block the gym class grapples.) will be harder then the one with the ability to grapple. Anyway aint gonna tell all the new stuff in this post just head to the main post to the "Upcoming updates" For the full list!

I am planning to countinue modding the V3.0 Version. I finished atlist half of my homework and got like 2 Test coming up in a few days. Except for that the mod will be out soon... I cant promise it will get out by 24 though.

Okeyyyyyyyyy Since I saw that the mod has over 100 total downloads (About 150 I think) I am pumped up to work on V3.0 faster. I was planning to release it in 3 to 5 months (I dont always have the feeling of working on it and I have a TON of work from school) but I will propably release it in the next 1 - 6 weeks.

Ladies and Gentelman ( :P ) , a 3.1V may be out to fix a bug I have found (A major bug that can make you unable to finish the story) but before I do that , if anyone found any bugs , please report them to me so I can fix them too.

hey when i download the 3.0 version it wont allow me to get past the first part when u fight wade or is it supposed to do that or am i supposed to get past it with the original game and put the mod back in???

This happened to me too and I think what happens is the game won't allow you pass because Wade will regenerate health and he won't get knocked out after you hit him too much.

I know lemon thats the major bug I mentioned. I already fixed it im just waiting for my internet to come back , finish the bonus file and waiting a day or 2 for someone to report a bug (im using my phone)

In the mission that you have to go to the house of one preps with russell is health is not full :/

I saw that too , but to tell the truth , his health is full.
So this is how it goes :
Russell has 800 hp in the mission (I guess by his default stats) which is set by lua in that mission for some reason (I guess , remember I am just trying to logicly realise how this happends) but Russell in my mod has 5000 so the game just keeps that Russell can have up to 5000 hp but it makes it 800 , so it shows you that Russell has 800 hp out of max of 5000.
If Russell was regenerating health you could see his health would fill slowly and then it will be full (5000 hp). I am not going to make Russell Regenerate cuz he is strong enough with 5000 hp thats a TON.
Anyway , Thanks for all who have reported , please keep reporting before the 3.1V will be released in a day or 2.

The thing is that this is called "Bully Hardcore Mode". Giving Russell more hp in a mission makes it easier since he can receive all the hits while Jimmy stands there.

I gave Russell 5000 hp to make him harder on free roam.
The mission resets his health to 800 , thats why his health bar isn't full in that mission.
The preps regain health faster then he can do damage , so he wont be killing them , so you just use Russell to get enough time to beat up the other preps (which is hard).
Jimmy has to help Russell to kill the prep or the fight will take a LONG time

PedSetHealth is not complicated. But it's also not the point.
The problem here is that it's set in a mission script, and mission scripts aren't fully decompiled. So yeah...until they're fully decompiled, fixing this is impossible.

Sorry for V3.1 Wasn't released yet, I still have real life friends, a youtube channel, Final tests, a minecraft server to run and much more to do except making the mod. I am correctly working on some last minute features and bug fixes, adding a bit more Hardcore to the Hardcore and a bit tunning down some of the hardest features, only a bit. These stats aren't fair. One guy has 1k+ hp and the other has like 200.

Stats are setted by clique ͵ class and bosses. Bosses will usually have more health then their clique members except for Russell that has a ton more hp then his clique mber Some clique members statss. Each clique has higher stats. Some clique members original stats are higher or share the stats (that's why demon has more health then ted and bif haa the same. health as Derby. Bif and Derby has the same name in pedstats.dat that's why they h.ave more health. Another thing is that grapplers will usually have more health since most of the time they are bigger and attack alower in other words tanks.

I want to make my own hardcore mode but only for freeroam because I don't know how to make them work for missions.

Just edit pedstats.dat file and it work for both free roam and missions (not all missions) and I will even support and answe ur questions about the peds names or anything else. But one condition is that u won't call it bully hardcore mod.

One suggestion, the authority could use a little vision range upgrade so they can easily caught you during curfew or when you're skipping class.

This mod sounds like it could give Bully the challenge it needs, but I think the hp regeneration might make the game a bit too ridiculously hard, so is there any way to remove the regeneration from the characters?

After trying the mod for a bit, my pros and cons are as follows:
Pros: I love the overall improvements of the AI, such as how they now try to chance tactic in case it's not going well for them. Speeding up the animations also makes fights more entertaining and harder. The higher HP was also needed.
Cons: The health regeneration. Just that. It really ruins what could have made Bully way more enjoyable than it already is. It just destroys the flow of the game. A typical fight in Bully lasted under a minute, it could last up to 3 - 5 minutes if you were fighting tougher opponents. In this mod, a regular prep/greaser takes freaking 5 minutes to beat due to the ridiculous hp regeneration. It doesn't make a game fun and difficult, it makes it frustrating and tiring. I don't want to spend 5 - 10 minutes fighting a regular opponent, let alone at least 10 minutes when fighting tougher ones. Features like these simply proves that making a game as hard as possible doesn't equal fun and challenge.
So are there any possible ways I can remove this HP regeneration? Then I might actually really love this mod.

Well this is a pretty old mod that ive done MANY MANY time before and I moved on to LUA instead of pedstat.dat but well yeah u can.
I can remove the HP regeneration for you if u want me to and send u a special version without it if u want.

Hey, i just beat the game with version V3.0 and i'll write my opinion about some missions i had trouble with if that's okay. Note - the slingshot helped me alot in this mod.
Chapter 1 wasn't really hard, i don't remember having any problems, not even with Russel.
Chapter 2 was harder, but still not that terrible, no problems or fails until the two last missions Boxing challenge and Dishonorable fight. Both were really hard and i had to use a lot of tactics. The only way i was able to beat Bif was to hurt him and then wait for the timer to run out. After that it took me about 10 tries to figure out a tactic to beat Derby. Beat the first three preps, get a soda, walk into the room, block the doors, after that run around shooting the two remaining preps with a slingshot. After they're down i had to carefully and tactically beat up Derby.
Chapter 3 - Bait, i failed about 4 times. Fighting Johnny Vincent - took me about 12 times to figure out a tactic to beat him - get to a wall and have a spraycan ready. Keep spamming the overhead punch move and after the fourth punch don't finish the move yet, only after he's sitting by the wall and then use it to give him an additional punch to the ground. When he's on the ground kick him. Repeat and if anything goes wrong, spray him in the face. Using this tactic, i got knocked out only like, 5 times :D.
Chapter 4 - Defender of the castle, failed twice. Nice outfit - Didn't fail on this one, but it took really long for me to knock out the mascot. Jock boss fight - I was surprised because when i read the description the maker, c00ld0c26 said it was "super ultra hardcore , Nearly impossible! , this one took me 19 tries!" For me the mission wasn't hard, i passed it on the first try but it took a reeeeeeeally long time to pass.
Chapter 5 - Not really that hard except the last four missions. Bustin in part II - I used the slingshot the entire time. The first part of the Edgar boss fight wasn't easy and he took quite a bit of my health. The second part was easier, because all i had to do was keep attacking him and then pressing R to knock him down. Complete mayhem - I cheated a little on this one :rolleyes: To beat Derby i had to take the giant pipe used to fight Edgar and keep hitting him with it until he's down. The other two preps and greasers,jocks,nerds were no problem. Final showdown - This mission left me with the biggest surprise of the whole game. From the description of the mod i was expecting a really hard fight that would cost me a lot of nerve but that wasn't the case. Gary was even easier than without the mod. He didn't hit me once and i literally beat him in about 20 seconds, i didn't even manage to recover and the credits were rolling.
