The story is shitty (I know it's not canon, but still).

The AI for your team SUCKS unless you're playing with friends. Veteran mode is not worth the aggravation alone. The online play is repetitive - wannabe CoD. If I wanted to play CoD - guess what - I'd play CoD.

I haven't played a lot of RE games.

I remember playing a few, YEARS ago on my friends Wii. You played as some blonde dude or something, and he goes to rescue a chick.

The first mission is when you go to a farm or some shit and there is a scare crow, and there is this zombie in the house and the protagonist goes up to him like a dumb ass negro and is like

"Yo, you seen this chick anywhere?" and then he gets attacked and that's the first mission. That's all I can remember from RE.

Also a mission where you're on this platform and it's falling down and you have to escape or soething.

The platform part? Don't remember that. Maybe it was RE4. -shrug-

Yeah I thought so, and my memory is very vague about the whole thing. That's literally all I can remember from RE, and the thing that pops up in my mind when "Resident Evil" comes up is that creepy old merchant guy with the sinister voice.

And I never got into RE, I mostly got into Dead Rising.

Hey, I liked RE 4 OK, it was a good game on it's own.  That I replayed it about 22 times meant I liked it enough to do so.  BUT.....I feel the game should have been titled "Leon 1" or something similar.  It's certainly no Zombie game as the prior RE games were.  And you're right, LG, "CV" ought to have been the real RE 4.
