Well...Silent Hill had it's own kind of 'Slowness'.....And jeepers christo, just how wide and long are those damn streets, anyway ?   Run two blocks and about have a heart attack, and it takes 10 minutes to do it (I exaggerate a bit there...It only took 5 minutes, but still)......

I think we all can agree to an extent that both Resident Evil and Silent Hill were great in their own ways back in the day. But now at least in my opinion both series have turned to shit. They are fun, but more action than anything.

No horror at all in my opinion and defiantly not survival.

^ I've been seeing the same things. I've always been into the RE series. Ever since the 4th game though the series has gone really far into the action direction and continued that way with the 5th game.

If they want this series to get back on the right path they need to look at the old game such as RE 2 and RE 3. They really had the "spook factor" and horror to them. That was all lost and the games are now nothing more than shooting and action/adventure.

Anyone see the RE6 debut trailer yet? This is supposed to be coming on the second of October. It seems they might have fixed the problem with too much action....

I've kind of lost interest myself due to the direction they took with the action thing, but I want to try and hold onto it and give it at least one more chance.

I've been playing this series for years now, ever since I was a kid. RE6 is the last chance I'm giving. If this game doesn't work out for me, I'm done with RE.

Ashley is only in RE4, she's the President's daughter. Sherry Birkin was in RE2, she's William Birkin's daughter. That's Sherry in the trailer, and the guy she's with is her partner, and that's Albert Wesker's son, whom I'm assuming Wesker didn't know about based on what he says in one of the trailers.

Albert never had much to do with his son, Jake Muller. Jake has some things from Wesker though. He has a special blood and is great in hand-to-hand.
