Location: The nerd's old house.
Reward: $25

Nerds rule, jocks drool. You must defend the Nerd's lair from the onslaught of the jocks. The mission, comprised of three different stages, is dependent on the amount of jocks you kill: if any of the jocks breaks through your defenses, you will fail the mission.

Defend the Gates
Nothing special, nothing difficult. Meet the jocks by (a) fighting where the jocks are running from, or (b) shooting from the hills. Defend the Gates is the exception to the rule: if a jock breaks through the gates, you won't fail the mission, but you'll move to the next segment, the Spud Cannon.

Spud Cannon
Now, if any of the jocks make it through your defenses, you will fail. Luckily, the cannon has unlimited ammo and is auto-fire. Find the path where the jocks are running from, and incessantly shoot at that point.

mebbe i didnt do it right, but that scheme didnt work for me. Is it possible the jocks are coming from both pathways? That would explain how i failed at the spud cannon

They come through only one path, just shoot at the path they run through and they eventually get kknocked out.

With the spud gun, the jocks follow two paths that you need to worry about. To begin with, shoot at the top left corner in line with the big boulder and you'll wipe out a fair few, but once they start pouring through just worry about the ones that are in full football gear, as they're the ones that will run toward the gates. They only really run in a straight line in between the light pillars (a little to the left of the center), so as long as you keep your spud cannon trained on that location, you should be fine.

ive done this mission for three times, but still the stupid jocks managed to get through. ive tried aiming my spud gun to one direction, but this one particular jocks (the one wearing football suit), just drive me crazy!

ive just done this one now i found it difficult at first but then i got the hang at shooting the spud gun in the same place as they all run past that spot

I'm stuck at this mission. It's because i can't lock on. It's crap.
There's too many for me to attack all at the one time

EASY DEFENDER OF THE CASTLE -- Before the mission, go buy the maxium amount of marbles...Then, during the mission, after they break through the barricades, and you are running back to the Observatory, STOP and spread all the marbles on the paved portion BETWEEN the 2 stone pillars that the Jocks will come through...Then run up and man the spud gun...They will all slip and fall, making them real EASY targets.....

Have you seen how you can get someone "locked" in the air with the spuds ? I mean, if you keep throwing spuds, they won't be able to fall on the ground... Tried with prefects.
