For those who aren't aware, lately the gaming scene are losing great titles and franchises due to poor sales or bad business practices. Today’s publishers/developers are playing it safe by churning out the same 'ol games like COD, Assassin's Creed, etc. Some titles are so long gone such as Mega Man or Castlevania, we will never know if they will ever be acknowledged properly again. And although Bully is still in the mindset of Rockstar, I sometimes feel we may not see a new one until much later.

But, what if someone out there was thinking about developing a game based of the ideas of Bully and started their own franchise. Similar to how GTA has it's copycats/competitors, would it be that difficult to do just that for Bully?

And as fans of Bully, that question is asked to you. Would you support such a title? If a studio launched a Kickstarter tomorrow proposing to make a spiritual successor or just a game in general based on the concepts of Bully, would you fund it?

Now this isn't the real question, but I feel the community should discuss this idea. I would like to see your opinions on the subject. Perhaps share your ideas for a spiritual successor if you may. This is open for discussions.

NOTE: A spiritual successor does not mean you can make a game called "Bully" using the characters that are owned my Rockstar. It means to create a new world and new story based on the original content without crossing the copyright/trademark red-line.

:euro: Hello I'm new here and I've been a huge fan of Bully. Finding a forum dedicate to the franchise is stellar and great place to talk to fellow fans of such an awesome game.

I first got Bully for the PS2 and loved it. Of course as time goes on, I eventually sold it along with a lot of my other game, so I was absent of one of my favorite games. It was until I one trip to my local game store (not Gamestop neh) I spotted the Scholarship Edition and instantly filled with nostalgia. Since I already had a 360, I bought the copy and play the living hell out of it.

I'm happy to be here to discuss Bully and I hope to be here to share the hype when a new Bully title is announce with the rest of the fandom.
