how can you tell what day it is? if you pass all your classes you wont have to go back unless you want too.

actually you can do alot in the amount of time it is showing. So i dont find that its moving to fast...well mabye in the start, but not now. But i think it is because i finished 1 class so i have alot of more time to mess around

I just finished "The Candidate" and when you complete it the clock goes away and you got all the time in the world before you do the halloween mission. Getting to explore around without having to worry about the clock and doing those small missions where you can bet for money. Pretty fun, hope there's more offtime like this between certain missions.

After a while....especially when the town opens up...you end up skipping class a lot!

Once you complete a class, it's really not a big deal. Just watch out for the truancy cops. But the game has you playing by strict rules for the 1st chapter.
The map issue is just one that takes getting used to.
