I can't choose a Avatar picture, It keeps saying the directory isn't writable, I try every single possible way to change it but it won't work. Plz help!!!

I will look into it but Since I don't have access to the host itself that BB is hosted on.....I don't know if I can do anything for that.
What I suggest for now is just see if you either can upload a avatar or maybe just link to one from the web somewhere.

Do you have the avatar image you want on a hosting site? Before this will work you need to have it hosting from the web somewhere. You can do that on photobucket, imgur, etc. Once you do that all you got to do is give a direct link to the image.

I had the same issue: 2 easy fixes
1) Choose a different image that you find on the internet rather then off your computer
2) Upload your image to another site, then get the link from that site to be your avatar.

Those options of yours daboss, put it this way, They dont work for me, what else can anybody give me an idea on how to upload and image without using those 2 options. Thanks

I'm late, I know, but the problem at hand here is that he's unable to choose an avatar from his computer, not the web. I also have this issue and I have had it for quite a while now (maybe even a year).

For the time being, we can't upload avatar pics from our PCs. Something is wrong and needs to be fixed. I recommend hosting an image from a site and using the link since that is the best alternative for now.

Just upload somewhere on this website and use that.

That issue is still there. was gonna post and saw this.
no upload from PC possible. When you want to upload your own pic you get the message "The attachments upload directory is not writable. Your attachment or avatar cannot be saved."
i'll try host it on net somewhere.

At this moment, hosting the image is the best way.

The ability to delete posts is not available to general members. You do have the ability to delete topics, but that is is something I don't recommend doing. These features I mentioned may be changed in the near future.
