Many are familiar with this knockout animation, as I shared it with most of the community, but this flashing effect was something I've been working on for a while.

Remember how in old games (if you're familiar with them), when the player or an opponent is defeated, they flash for a bit before disappearing?

Well, thanks to suggestions by SWEGTA, I was finally able to replicate a similar effect. Go to my account's videos, select "Demo", and skip to 1:15 in the video.

Hey folks, so right now my main story is undergoing a major overhaul. However, before I rewrite it, I am writing a back story on my main character's time in prison prior to the main story.

I have already completed the first chapter of the arc, which I will post in the next comment.

So it turns out that the fake GarySmithFan account was a strawman sockpuppet of UltimateGamer1, and that the whole trash-talk went from simple trolling into a framing attempt.

Let's put aside the very pathetic attempt at impersonating an innocent user. What I would like to understand is, why all the egocentrism around modding? What do you have to prove behind it? It's not going to net you celebrity like fame. There isn't any money to be won. So why all this selfishness? And why do many people out there who leech off of modders try to steal credit on youtube?

Let this be a lesson to any would-be retard who wants to go down this moronic path.

P.S. Also, if someone tries to stir up a ruckus, do NOT involve yourself. Report it.

I modded the effects of DO_Striker_A and G_Striker_A. I won't bother with changing moves for Jimmy until the cat archives are extracted.

The third punch of both styles now knocks people backwards similar to the uppercut of P_Striker_A.

I'm sure you guys remember how the Gman started a survival series where three characters, once from the Prep clique, and the other time from the Greaser clique, would take on a whole group of Jocks until either they defeat the Jocks, or are defeated themselves.

Well, I expanded on that idea into a mod (which I plan to turn into a sort of beat 'em up).

These are pics of the test script I made, which aside from a few minor annoyances works quite well.

Hey guys, so this thread will be where I'm gonna post my updates regarding my modding status.

9/10/2012: Working on getting a freecam mod working, but so far my attempts haven't gone anywhere...I won't give up any time soon, though, since I now know how the camera works.

9/10/2012: Gonna be on modding hiatus until I finish my exams on the 27th of this month.

9/27/2012: Back in action now. Gonna get cracking on those fight requests now.

10/2/2012: Nearing the release of my second fight mod. It's a lot more professional than the first one, although there is still a few problems here and there.

10/10/2012: Progress is being hindered badly by other issues in life for the fight requests. I can't say I know how long it will take.

12/8/2012: I made a script for future survival videos...going to upload pics soon.

1/6/2013: More real life issues needed to be dealt with before I get back into hardcore modding.

4/18/2013: I need a new desktop PC to continue modding.

2014: I'm retired indefinitely from modding.

What's this about?

So, are there are special fights you wanna see? I'll take requests for those from now on.

Just list me the following:

- The peds (who's fighting who, and it can be as many as you want on either side).
AGAIN, IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE ONE ON ONE. Be creative!

- The place (is it on the main map or in an exterior? Note, however, that rooftops are not an option yet due to complications).

- How many rounds.

- The stats you want for each ped.

- The music you want playing in the background, before the fight begins, and when it starts.

9/10/2012: As of now, I will post them all in the video section. Also, to the guys who requested fights after Elliott, I will get started on them once my finals are over.
