the game pretty much bombed and it looks like there wont be a sequel

That's ridiculous. Since when has Rockstar listened to nerds that spend their lives analyzing whether a sequel will come out?

So they only reason why he thinks the game won't come out is because Rockstar won't make money? First of all, Rockstar makes enough money as it is, so even if they lose money on a game it wouldn't matter. This brings me to my second point, I predict hat Rockstar would make more money off of Bully 2. Why? Because not only will every gamer who bought Bully will buy Bully 2, with the exception of the few idiots who hate the whole game, but also new people will check out Bully. How do I know that? Bully was an experiment for Rockstar, they wanted to steer away from the city shoot 'em ups, and I feel that it was a good move. But with every new boundary you cross you will make mistakes, just like Rockstar made with Bully. Now if Rockstar hears out the many gamers out there who played Bully, and fix the errors to create a better Bully 2 more people will play it. Not only will they buy Bully 2, but they will buy Bully to see the beginning.

they have got some major games coming out for the next gens which they are working on, a bully sequel may be possible, but not in the near future

There will be a sequal because Bully fucking rocks. And whoever said that Bully 'bombed' is a total lie. I mean, it must have been at LEAST somewhat successful to be considered one of the best games of 06.

I read on a fansite quite a while ago that they made $200,000 PROFIT in N.America alone.

$200,000 Isn't that much though. I can't imagine that being able to compensate for all the R* workers paychecks.

They are using the enjoyment of the fans for money. Lets put it this way, they made mistakes on Bully, which will be improved, to make a much better Bully 2. People who did not buy Bully will buy Bully 2, because it looks much better, then buy Bully (one) to experience the beginning.

Well, there probably won't be a Bully 2 as such. There will be a sort of sequal, though, like with GTA: 3 and GTA: VC, the same gameplay aspects but in a different place, a different school, with different characters. Since when has a company like Rockstar let something like low profits or controversy stop them? The games sheer originality should make them more sales, although probably a while after the game was first sold.

Now I would not mind having such a thing as what you said, longsworder. In fact, I would have that, rather then having Jimmy be the main character. Looking at the rockstar games, you may be on to something.

Nah, i wouldn't say thats definitive. The is plenty of room for a Bully sequel in a few years. It was an unfortunate time to release Bully in between the switch over to next-gen. I think if a Bully2 is released on the PS3 and 360 in a few years time they would make 5x the profit.
R* wont let this game just fade away.

Agreed... nobody expected Manhunt 2 and look what happened 4 years later.
Same thing will probably happen to Bully... just wait :)
