Yeah, it's really out of place.  I can only surmise that those 'little kids' aren't that little, maybe 'Jr. High' type kids (6th, 7th, 8th Graders) as a reason for them even being there.

Ugh! They all deserved to be stuffed into trash bags tossed into random garbage cans around the campus and then hauled off to landfills!
