These are not missions you need to pass to beat the game,
so don't worry about trying to get EVERY transistor in
the game. There are a total of 6 transistors thru-out
the game to find. Each time you find one, bring it to the
hobo, and he will teach you a series of fighting techniques. :D

WARNING: extreme spoiler below:

After you have given him all 6 transitioners,
and learned all 6 fighting techniques, the hobo will float
away, up a laser circle thing.... into the sky. You shall
never see this mysterious hobo again.

actually, none of the words I spelled are WORNG. If you're gonna post walk-thrus....might as well have 'em spelled right.People are counting on you for information and a mis-spelled word doesn't really help anyone, does it? Altho your spelling is ORIGANAL. Do you know what a transistor is? I see you went back to fix some of the mistakes. Nice :p
And it's still wrong....when you bring back a transistor---he teaches you one new move to add ...not a ''series'' per transistor....or transitioner.

Idiot......

What a jackass you are,... I mean come on man
I am just trying to help the community, and you
have to go and post some unwanted "spell check"
that nobody cares about. They look on this page
for helpfull info on a level, not to see if someone
spelled something wrong. And I am a fast typist,
so I normally don't look for mistakes. Plus, why do
you even care? Are you some neat freak who sits
there looking for mistakes? And stop taking things
I call you like "idiot." You got mad that I called you
that, and had to respond with the same insult right?
So lighten up man, and go to a page where people
care about there spelling............

Do you need a tissue? Some kind of hug?
..................I was also trying to help the community: by giving them a post that made sense. I wasn't trying to slam you. You could've came on here and said ''Oops! Yeah, I type too fast''. And I would've told you that the boards were dead and I just noticed some really wrong spelling...and we both would've laughed and been pals. But you gotta go on the offensive and call me names so hey....right back at ya.
.................How is someone helped when they say to themselves ''What the fuck is a transitioner????'' English is obviously your native language.... might as well use it correctly. And you originally said that ''the hobo taught you more than one move for every piece you gave him'' which is WRONG. Helpful info is one thing....but wrong info doesn't really help anyone, does it?
.................I'm not mad at all. In fact, I spend most of the time laughing while I reply to you. Someone DOES need to lighten up around here....but it ain't me.
................And--if ''nobody'' cared about the correct spelling, then why did you change your original post? Maybe to keep yourself from looking stupid? So obviously....YOU cared, right?
................I'm sure this bickering isn't what the guys in charge had in mind, so why don't you just 1) go back and correct your spelling because you care so much about helping the community and 2) just ignore me like I'm gonna ignore you. :)

Yer all missing the point.....it's not that the spelling was a little off....there were words that don't exist...And in a walk-thru,for gods sakes?  So when someone who isn't too hip with the English language goes on for help cuz he's stuck...and there's a completely fucked up word...what's he supposed to do?
At least when you try to make fun of me....I laugh as much as y'all do and don't take it personally. Let's all enjoy the cleverness of miles!!   He's definitely the oddball out if he has to edit to make mistakes instead of the other way around.

This whole thread made me laugh alot, that's for sure... If we're back to topic, finally I don't know if the hobo moves are useful, I'll explain why :

I stopped right after learning the 5-Hit combo in my game, and as I fight, I just release square before Jimmy does a special move, so that his punches are more powerful - With a perfect timing, I can knock out a nerd with 3 punches !

If we have none of the moves, we just have to keep each time square pushed as long as possible, to make three punches powerful as hell, without Jimmy to do an uppercut, a legsweep or a back kick !
Title: Re: Hobo Training Missions
Post by: BloodChuckZ on May 21, 2010, 06:08:07 AM
Yeah.....I do like to hold down on the button for the punch to make it long and hard....and the things they say right after each punch crack me up.....

But of all the punches, the Overhead is the coolest by far, I think.
Title: Re: Hobo Training Missions
Post by: Mercury on May 21, 2010, 10:30:11 AM
The... Overhead... Uh...

You mean the roundhouse kick ? The kick in the face, by holding the fourth time ?
Title: Re: Hobo Training Missions
Post by: BloodChuckZ on May 23, 2010, 10:19:24 AM
No...Where Jimmy punches them on the top of the head downwards.
Title: Re: Hobo Training Missions
Post by: Mercury on May 24, 2010, 01:36:10 PM
Haha, the fifth then ! I love the way they just crash on the ground ! My favorite one is the one I just told you, the kick in the face ! Or maybe the balayette, as Laurent would say, aka the legsweep in english.
Title: Re: Hobo Training Missions
Post by: BloodChuckZ on May 26, 2010, 03:40:07 PM
Yeah, those are cool too.....I just always liked the overhead punch for the effect of them smashing into the ground.....You might say it's my VERY favorite.
Title: Re: Hobo Training Missions
Post by: Mike_W on July 22, 2010, 09:16:53 PM
My favorite is between the overhead punch and the leg sweep.  The uppercut is sort of useless in my opinion.
Title: Re: Hobo Training Missions
Post by: BloodChuckZ on July 30, 2010, 03:03:10 AM
Uppercut's OK.....But the Overhead is just sooo much more effective.
Title: Re: Hobo Training Missions
Post by: Mercury on November 01, 2010, 11:58:55 AM
A cool idea of mod would be being able to use those moves at any time... No need to make four, three punches before... That would lead to awesome combos !

It's not that I'm an asshole or anything, it's just that I expect things from people but don't expect to have to do the same in return.

Example (it's pretty stupid):

Someone has a bag of chips and I really want some. I'll ask, and they'll give me some. I'll ask again and they'll give me some more so on until I get pretty much as much as I want. Then I'll have a bag, and won't want to give ANY away. Not one.

Just little things like that, but with many other things. Not just chips.
Title: Re: Hobo Training Missions

I gave up. Apparently there is a limit to how much can be in your sig and my account kept being a bitch when I tried to add more trophies.

All I can fit in is what I have, period....The trophies and 4 words.  There's a character limit.

I still got 37 characters left.

That's because you are only using one ULR reference for your image.  Each of the trophies has a seperate ULR reference.

I'm thinking there is a max of 135 characters, including spaces.

That's so gay! All that space wasted because of URLs!!!!

I don't like the Platinum one, it looks different from the others.  I tried it and went "YUCK"....

When you play a game it come with trophies you can earn by doing things in game. You got bronze, silver, and gold ones. The better the trophy usually means it's harder to get. Get all the trophies in a game and you'll get the platinum one. The black one is a hidden trophy, it want tell you what you have to do to earn it. So you have to figure it out, and I hate that.
